Utopia Bedding King Pillow Protectors Set of 4 — Zippered Waterproof, TPU Barrier for Allergen & Bed Bug Protection

Utopia Bedding's set of four king-size pillow protectors are zippered, waterproof covers designed to fully encase 20 x 38 inch pillows for stain, allergen and bed bug resistance.

These pillow protectors are made to extend the life of your pillows while keeping them clean and dry. Constructed from a soft polyester knitted jersey outer with a TPU barrier lining, the covers combine comfort with practical protection. Each protector closes with a robust zipper and is double-hemmed for long-term use. This set includes four king-size covers only; pillow inserts are not included.

How do these protectors keep pillows dry and clean?

The inside TPU membrane acts as a waterproof shield that blocks fluids and spills from reaching the pillow fill, while the knitted jersey exterior preserves a natural look and soft hand. The seam construction and full zipper closure minimize points of entry for liquids and particles.

• TPU waterproof lining on all sides prevents moisture penetration
• Double-hemmed seams reduce wear and leakage over time
• Full-length zipper fully encloses the pillow for edge-to-edge defense

Are these pillow covers comfortable to sleep on?

Yes. The outer layer is a lightweight polyester knitted jersey that feels smooth and breathable against skin, so you maintain pillow comfort without the scratchy sensation of some protective covers. The TPU layer is thin and flexible, so it does not add bulk or significantly change pillow loft.

• Soft, jersey-feel outer fabric for a pleasant sleeping surface
• Thin TPU barrier preserves pillow shape and loft
• Designed for use under your regular pillowcase for extra comfort

How do I clean and care for these covers?

Maintenance is straightforward: machine wash gently and tumble dry on low heat to keep the waterproof lining intact. To protect the membrane and zipper, turn covers inside out before washing and avoid bleaching, ironing, or dry cleaning.

• Machine wash gentle cycle; waterproof side inward
• Tumble dry low; avoid high heat that can damage TPU
• No bleach, ironing, or professional dry cleaning recommended

Will these protectors help with allergens and pests?

The snug zipper closure and fully encased design help reduce exposure to dust mites, allergens, and insects by eliminating open entry points around the pillow. While they provide a high level of barrier protection, they should be part of an overall bedding hygiene routine.

• Full-zip enclosure limits allergen and pest access
• Close-fitting 20 x 38 inch sizing for king pillows minimizes gaps
• Use with regular washing and mattress care for best results

Who is this for? Sleepers who want to protect king-size pillows from spills, stains, allergens, and bed bugs without sacrificing a comfortable surface will find these covers useful. They suit allergy sufferers, parents, pet owners, people who travel often, and anyone aiming to extend pillow life. Because this is a set of four covers sized 20 x 38 inches, it’s ideal for households that wash bedding frequently or want backup protectors for quick replacement.
