Utopia Bedding Full Size Waterproof Mattress Protector — Fits up to 15" Deep, Terry-Top & TPU Backing

Utopia Bedding Waterproof Full Size Mattress Protector shields your mattress from spills and stains while fitting mattresses up to 15 inches deep with a snug, all-around elastic fit.

Protecting a mattress without sacrificing comfort is the goal of this full-size mattress protector. Designed with a soft, absorbent terry-top surface and a high-quality TPU waterproof backing, this protector resists liquid penetration while remaining breathable and quiet. Professional hems and deep fitted pockets create a smooth, secure layer that stays in place on mattresses measuring 54" x 75" x 15".

How does this protector stop spills without feeling noisy or stiff?

The protector uses a terry-cloth styled top for softness and absorbency, paired with a thin TPU membrane underneath that blocks liquids. This combination keeps the sleep surface comfortable and minimizes crinkling commonly associated with some waterproof layers.

• Soft blended terry top offers a cushioned, breathable feel.
• TPU backing blocks liquids while remaining flexible and quiet.
• High-quality seam construction prevents seepage at stitch lines.

Will it stay put on a deep mattress during regular use?

Yes — the protector features a fitted-style design with elastic that runs all around the skirt, holding the corners and sides firmly in place even on deeper beds. Professionally turned hems add durability to the edge where fit matters most.

• Elastic skirt fits mattresses up to 15" deep securely.
• 54" x 75" sizing matches standard full mattresses precisely.
• Reinforced hems reduce shifting and edge wear over time.

How do I clean and care for this mattress protector?

Cleaning is simple: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low. Avoid ironing, bleaching, and fabric softener to preserve the waterproof backing and fabric performance.

• Machine wash cold, gentle cycle for best results.
• Tumble dry low; do not iron or bleach the protector.
• Avoid fabric softener to maintain waterproof properties.

What specific protection does the TPU backing provide?

The TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) layer acts as an impermeable barrier to liquids and common household spills, stopping moisture from reaching the mattress core while staying quiet and breathable compared with heavier vinyl options.

• Prevents liquids from soaking into the mattress fibers.
• Lightweight, durable alternative to thicker vinyl liners.
• Resists leakage along seams when properly installed.
