Utopia Bedding Bamboo Viscose Waterproof Mattress Protector King Size, 17" Deep Pocket — Cool, Breathable, Quiet Barrier

A king-size, 17" deep-pocket mattress protector made with breathable bamboo viscose fabric that provides waterproof protection while staying soft and cool to the touch.

Utopia Bedding's Bamboo Viscose Waterproof Mattress Protector in king size is designed to shield your mattress from spills, sweat, and everyday wear without sacrificing comfort. The fitted-cover design uses an all-around elastic skirt to hold the protector securely on mattresses up to 17 inches deep, while the 200 GSM bamboo viscose surface delivers a smooth, breathable feel. Machine-washable and low-dryable, this protector combines practical care with a refined textile finish for nightly comfort and long-term mattress care.

How does this protector keep a mattress clean without feeling plasticky?

The protector uses a soft 200 GSM bamboo viscose top layer that breathes and feels like a textile rather than a sheet of vinyl. A hidden waterproof membrane underneath blocks liquids while remaining thin and flexible, so the sleep surface stays smooth and quiet.

• 200 GSM bamboo viscose top for a soft, cool touch
• Thin waterproof barrier laminated below the fabric—no crinkly plastic feel
• Quiet, flexible construction that preserves mattress contour and comfort

Will it fit my mattress and stay put through the night?

This king protector measures 78 x 80 inches and is built to accommodate mattress depths up to 17 inches with a fitted skirt and elastic all around. The snug, enveloping fit prevents shifting, bunching, and corner slip so your sheets and sleep surface stay smooth overnight.

• King size 78 x 80 inches fits standard king mattresses
• 17" deep pocket with full elastic skirt for secure hold
• Fitted-style cover simplifies bed-making and improves sheet fit

How should I care for this protector to keep it effective?

Care is straightforward: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low. Avoid ironing, bleaching, or using fabric softeners to preserve the bamboo viscose surface and the waterproof membrane's performance.

• Machine wash cold, gentle cycle
• Tumble dry low; avoid high heat
• Do not iron, bleach, or use fabric softener

What specific benefits does bamboo viscose add compared with standard cotton protectors?

Bamboo viscose offers a silkier, cooler hand than many cotton guards, and it naturally wicks moisture away from the skin for a drier sleep surface. The fabric also provides a refined look and softer feel that’s comfortable against bare skin, improving sleeping comfort while the waterproof membrane does the protective work beneath.

• Smoother, cooler surface than many cotton alternatives
• Effective moisture wicking keeps the sleep surface feeling dry
• Upgraded textile look and softer touch for comfort-first protection
