URPOWER Back Seat Extender for Dogs — Large Hard-Bottom Dog Car Seat Cover, Waterproof & Supportive

URPOWER Back Seat Extender for Dogs is a reinforced, hard-bottom car seat cover that expands your back seat into a wide, flat, waterproof platform to keep medium and large dogs comfortable and your vehicle protected.

Whether you take the dog to the park, the vet, or on a long road trip, messy paws and restless pets challenge every rear seat. This URPOWER model combines a three-panel hard-bottom foundation with a multi-layer padded surface and heavy-duty waterproof fabric to stop sagging, reduce gaps, and block dirt and moisture. Built-in travel features — mesh viewing window, storage pockets, seat-belt anchor, and slip-resistant backing — add convenience and safety while keeping the installation quick and the cover tidy when not in use.

How does the hard-bottom design improve stability on rides?

Instead of several small boards that can shift or sag, this extender uses three large hard panels that span the seat area and bridge the gap between front and rear seating. That layout gives a flatter, more secure platform so dogs can sit or lie down without sliding into the footwell.

• Three reinforced hard-bottom panels for even support
• Supports up to 550 lbs to prevent collapse under weight
• Bridges the seat gap to reduce falls and improve balance

Will it protect my car from water, mud, and scratches?

The cover uses 900D Oxford fabric with double waterproof barriers (PU + TPU) and reinforced seams to block liquids, mud, and pet hair from reaching upholstery. Edge piping and heavy stitching reduce the chances of leaks and wear at stress points.

• Fully waterproof layers prevent spills and dampness
• Wear-resistant 900D fabric resists claws and abrasion
• Reinforced seams and piping minimize fraying and leakage

Is my dog comfortable enough for long trips?

Comfort comes from a nine-layer construction: hard panels provide structure while a high-resilience foam layer cushions joints and reduces board stiffness. The result is a supportive yet padded surface that helps larger breeds and older dogs ride more comfortably for longer periods.

• High-resilience foam tops the hard base for softer contact
• Padded surface reduces pressure on hips and elbows
• Mesh window enhances airflow and lets your dog see you

How easy is it to install and use every day?

Installation is straightforward with adjustable headrest straps, reinforced buckles, and a non-slip backing that holds the cover in place. The unit folds and stores compactly when not in use and includes pockets plus a seat-belt tether for quick access to essentials and added restraint.

• Adjustable straps and buckles attach to headrests quickly
• Non-slip underlayer keeps the cover from shifting
• Two storage pockets and an included seat-belt tether for gear

Who is this for? This URPOWER back seat extender is aimed at owners of medium to large dogs who want a stable, waterproof platform for the back seat — ideal for road-tripping families, outdoor enthusiasts, and pet parents with senior or large-breed dogs. It fits many sedans and SUVs at 52" x 24.8", but measure your vehicle’s rear seat area before buying if you have captain’s chairs, an oversized console, or a narrow bench.
