UPETTOOLS Aquarium Gravel Cleaner Electric Vacuum 110V/28W — Telescopic Reach and 1700 L/h Flow

UPETTOOLS Aquarium Gravel Cleaner is a 6-in-1 electric aquarium maintenance tool that vacuums substrate, exchanges water, filters debris, and controls flow so you can clean tanks quickly and safely.

Keep aquariums spotless without hours of manual siphoning: this upgraded unit combines a high-efficiency 28W motor, adjustable suction, and an extendable cleaning tube to handle small desktop tanks through larger home aquaria. Built for both freshwater and saltwater setups, it aims to remove waste and particulate matter from gravel and sand while making regular water changes faster and more precise.

How does the UPETTOOLS cleaner remove debris without disturbing beneficial bacteria?

The device focuses suction on the substrate surface and traps particulates through its internal filtration, reducing the need to stir up tank bed layers aggressively. Adjustable flow control helps dial back power when you want a gentle pass or increase it for deep cleaning.

• Internal filter captures uneaten food, fish waste, and fine particles.
• Variable flow valve lets you select gentle or powerful suction.
• Designed to minimize substrate agitation and preserve bacterial colonies.

What tank sizes and depths will this electric vacuum work with?

The telescoping tube extends from 60 cm to 96 cm (23.6"–37.7"), and the unit is suitable for water depths approximately 35 cm to 120 cm (13.7"–47.2"). That range covers most home aquariums, from compact bowls to larger cabinets and reef displays.

• Telescopic reach adapts to shallow and deep tanks.
• Compact body fits inside hooded or open-top setups.
• Effective for both small desktop tanks and large 180-gallon systems.

How fast and efficient is the pump for water changes?

The 110V/28W motor delivers a maximum flow rate of up to 1700 L/h, enabling quick drainage and refill cycles under optimal conditions. Depending on tank layout and hose routing, routine partial water changes take a fraction of the time compared with manual siphoning.

• 1700 liters per hour maximum flow for fast water movement.
• Capable of draining large tanks—example: a 180-gallon tank in roughly 30 minutes under ideal conditions.
• Adjustable output reduces splashing and allows controlled emptying.

What safety and convenience features make this model easy to use?

Ergonomic and practical elements help ensure safe, repeatable maintenance sessions. The telescopic tube locks securely in place, the unit is rated for both freshwater and saltwater, and the design separates solids from water for straightforward disposal or filtering.

• Secure locking mechanism prevents accidental retraction while cleaning.
• Corrosion-resistant components suitable for saltwater aquaria.
• Detachable parts make rinsing and storage simple after use.
