UMOCUOY Cat Water Fountain Replacement Filters 12‑Pack for 2.6L Stainless Steel — 6 Carbon & 6 Sponge Pre‑Filters

Replacement filter set for UMOCUOY 2.6L stainless-steel cat water fountain: 6 activated-carbon cartridges and 6 sponge pre-filters to keep pet water clearer and tasting better.

If you own the UMOCUOY 2.6 L stainless steel cat fountain, this 12-piece replacement pack supplies the internal filtration components you need to maintain steady water flow and cleaner drinking water for your pet. Each set includes individually sealed cartridges to preserve freshness until installation, and the design combines mechanical and chemical filtration to trap hair, debris and odors before they reach your cat’s bowl.

How do these replacement filters improve my cat's fountain water?

The two-part filters capture visible particles with a sponge layer while an activated carbon core adsorbs chlorine and common tastes or odors. Together they polish the water that circulates through the fountain so it looks and smells fresher to a picky pet. Regular replacement helps maintain pump performance and keeps flow consistent.

• Dual-layer filtration: sponge for debris, carbon for tastes and odors
• Individually sealed pieces to prevent contamination before use
• Designed to fit the UMOCUOY 2.6 L stainless steel fountain housing

How often should I change each filter for best results?

We recommend swapping filters every 2–4 weeks depending on your household—frequency rises with multiple pets or heavy shedding. If you notice reduced flow, visible discoloration, or an off-smell, replace the filter sooner. Pre-soaking new sponges for a few minutes removes packing dust and primes the media.

• Change interval: generally 2–4 weeks per filter
• Replace sooner with multiple pets, heavy shedding, or decreased flow
• Soak each new sponge 3–5 minutes before installation

What exactly is inside each cartridge and how does it work?

Each cartridge combines a soft sponge outer layer with an inner activated carbon core and small ion-exchange beads. The sponge traps hair and large particulates, while carbon reduces tastes and odors; ion-exchange media can help reduce certain dissolved minerals that affect water clarity. This layered approach extends pump life and helps keep the fountain operating smoothly.

• Sponge layer: catches hair and sediment
• Activated carbon: adsorbs odors and improves taste
• Ion-exchange elements: reduce mineral content that causes cloudiness
