U.S. Pool Supply Above-Ground Pool Skimmer — Wall-Mount Oversized 1.5" Hose, Large Basket

This heavy-duty surface skimmer is built for above-ground pools and engineered to catch debris at the waterline before it sinks. Constructed from UV-resistant ABS and polypropylene, the unit pairs a large-capacity basket with an efficient float ring and a 1.5-inch suction hose to increase water movement and debris pickup. Included adjustable mounting brackets, a 90-degree hose connection, and compatibility with many Intex and Bestway pool models make installation straightforward.

How does the skimmer improve everyday pool cleanliness?

The skimmer continuously draws surface water through a removable strainer basket so leaves and floating waste are trapped before they sink. It runs with your existing filter pump to maintain surface circulation and reduce manual scooping. Over time, less debris on the bottom means fewer deep cleans and less strain on the main filter.

• Extra-large basket captures more material between cleanings.
• Float ring and wide water-guide plate boost surface rotation.
• Works automatically with pumps rated ≥1,000 gal/hr (3,785 L/h).

Will this skimmer fit my above-ground pool model?

The kit includes two adjustable-height mounting brackets designed to fasten to a variety of above-ground wall profiles, including inflatable collar pools, tubular-frame pools, and most metal-frame designs. It is compatible with many popular Intex and Bestway pools but always check measurements against your pool wall before installing. The 90-degree hose connector helps position the suction hose neatly against the pool wall for a secure fit.

• Adjustable brackets for multiple wall thicknesses and styles.
• Includes connector hose and adapter for standard plumbing points.
• 90° hose joint reduces strain and improves hose routing.

What are the durable, performance-focused features?

Durable ABS and polypropylene resist UV and outdoor exposure to extend service life. The oversized collection canister (approx. 4.6 liters / 1.2 gallons capacity) and a larger 1.5-inch suction hose deliver higher flow and less frequent emptying than smaller skimmers. The deep inner-edge slope and float design channel more surface water into the basket to improve debris capture efficiency.

• UV-resistant plastic construction for long-term outdoor use.
• 1.5" (38 mm) hose for increased water throughput versus 1.25" hoses.
• Large basket with easy-pull removal for quick maintenance.

How simple is installation and routine maintenance?

Installation is intended to be user-friendly: mount the bracket, snap the skimmer into place, connect the suction hose to your pump and secure the adapter. The basket lifts out for fast debris disposal and rinsing—no tools required for daily upkeep. Regularly check the hose connection and empty the basket as needed, especially after storms or heavy leaf fall.

• Comes with mounting hardware, hose, adapter, and instructions.
• Tool-free basket removal for quick cleaning.
• Recommended pump flow ≥1,000 gal/hr for best results.
