Truly Free Dishwasher Detergent Powder, Concentrated 12.5oz Pouch — Non‑Toxic, Removes Hard‑Water Spots

Truly Free Dishwasher Detergent Powder is a concentrated, non-toxic dishwasher soap that removes grease, hard-water spots and residue from dishes and glassware.

This concentrated 12.5oz pack of Truly Free dishwasher powder is formulated to deliver powerful cleaning without common harsh additives. Designed for automatic dishwashers, the powder tackles baked-on food, mineral deposits and cloudy film while avoiding dyes, fragrances, bleach, phosphates and other controversial ingredients. The resealable pouch and included scoop make measuring simple, and the powder format dissolves quickly in most cycles.

How quickly does it dissolve and start cleaning in a dishwasher?

The powder is designed to dissolve rapidly in standard dishwasher cycles so active cleaning agents work early in the wash. It performs well in both normal and heavy cycles, provided the machine reaches typical operating temperatures.

• Dissolves quickly in 120–160°F (49–71°C) cycles.
• Suitable for normal, heavy, and eco wash settings.
• Works in soft and hard water when used as directed.
• Includes a scoop to control dosage per load size.

Will it remove hard-water spots and cloudy glass buildup?

Truly Free’s formula targets mineral buildup and film left by hard water, restoring clarity to glassware without adding rinse fragrances or polishes. For persistent mineral deposits, combining with a conditioner or using a hot heavy cycle may improve results.

• Formulated to tackle calcium and magnesium residue.
• Helps reduce streaks and cloudy films on glass.
• Free of phosphates and harsh bleaches that can leave residues.
• Best paired with a dishwasher rinse aid for very hard water.

Is this powder safe for families, pets and septic systems?

The product omits many common toxic and persistent chemicals, making it a gentler choice for home use. It’s formulated without ammonia, parabens, phthalates, triclosan, Quats, bleach, formaldehyde, and other listed compounds—but always follow disposal and usage instructions for septic systems.

• No synthetic fragrances, dyes, or harsh solvents included.
• No phosphates, PERC, or quaternary ammonium compounds.
• Resealable packaging helps prevent spills and moisture exposure.
• Consult local guidelines before large-volume disposal into septic systems.

How should I measure and store the powder for best results?

Use the provided scoop for consistent dosing based on soil level and load size. Store the resealable pouch in a cool, dry place to prevent clumping; keep out of reach of children and pets and avoid direct sunlight.

• Use one scoop for normal loads; increase for heavy, soiled loads.
• Keep pouch sealed after each use to maintain powder flow.
• Store at room temperature away from humidity and heat sources.
• Keep away from children and pets; follow label safety instructions.

Who this is for: This detergent is suited for homeowners and renters who want effective dishwashing performance without many common industrial chemicals. It’s a good fit for families with sensitivities to fragrances or dyes, eco-minded buyers seeking cleaner ingredient lists, and anyone who prefers powder format for flexible dosing. If you have very hard water or severe mineral scale, pairing Truly Free Powder with a rinse aid or periodic dishwasher cleaner will help optimize glass clarity and long-term performance.
