TRATPER Rat & Chipmunk Covered Snap Traps, 4 Pack — Dual-Tunnel Safety, Reusable

TRATPER Rat and Chipmunk Traps are covered, dual-entry snap traps designed to reduce accidental triggers while delivering a fast, discreet kill and multiple reuse cycles.

If you need a durable, low-visibility trap for indoor or outdoor rodent control, the TRATPER covered snap trap offers a simple hands-free setup, enclosed tunnels to protect children and pets, and a washable ABS-plastic body for repeated use. The 4-pack gives flexibility to place traps in known activity corridors, behind appliances, or in exterior burrow entrances without exposing the spring or trigger mechanism.

How does the dual-tunnel design improve safety and effectiveness?

The twin-entry tunnels guide rodents to a central trigger while keeping the lethal mechanism hidden from casual contact. This reduces the chance of accidental triggers by pets or children and focuses the rodent’s approach for a higher capture rate.

• Enclosed tunnels prevent hands and paws from reaching the snap mechanism.
• Dual entries increase the likelihood a rodent will enter from either side.
• Internal jaw and sensitive trigger pad work together for a rapid response.

What setup and baiting steps make TRATPER traps ready to work?

Setting the TRATPER trap is intended to be straightforward: place bait inside the tunnel, depress the lever to arm the unit, and position it where rodents travel. No hooks or complex wiring are required, and the locking mechanism holds the trap armed until triggered.

• Use sticky baits like peanut butter to attract rodents quickly.
• Place along walls, near burrow openings, or behind appliances for best results.
• Wear gloves when handling to limit transferring human scent onto the bait.

How do you clean and reuse these traps safely?

The TRATPER body is made of heavy-duty ABS plastic that tolerates washing between uses. After a capture, follow local guidelines for disposal, unclip the mechanism as instructed, and rinse the unit with soap and water while wearing gloves.

• Discard remains per local regulations before cleaning.
• Hand-wash with mild detergent; avoid harsh solvents that can damage plastic.
• Inspect the jaw and trigger pad before resuming use to ensure proper function.

Where can these traps be used and how durable are they outdoors?

At 8" x 6" x 5" and constructed from sturdy black ABS plastic, TRATPER traps are suitable for both indoor and outdoor placement. The design hides the mechanism from weather and curious animals, but placing them in sheltered spots will prolong life and performance.

• Works in garages, basements, sheds, and along building perimeters.
• Heavy-duty plastic resists cracking and provides discreet, low-profile placement.
• Keep under eaves or inside protected runways to minimize exposure to rain.

Who is this for: TRATPER traps are a practical choice for homeowners, property managers, and small-scale pest control users who want a safer, enclosed snap trap that reduces accidental contact and can be cleaned and reused. They suit anyone looking for a discreet, effective solution for rats, mice, or chipmunks in and around dwellings, garages, and outbuildings.
