Toyk Water Doodle Mat — Large 40×28 inch Kids Water Painting Mat with 6 Refillable Pens, No-Mess Portable Playset

Toyk Water Doodle Mat is a large reusable water-paint mat and complete doodle kit that lets toddlers 2–7 paint with water—no ink, no mess, and the drawings fade so play can be repeated.

This portable water drawing mat combines a roomy 40 × 28 inch canvas, six refillable water pens and multiple molds and templates so young artists can experiment with shapes, colors and hand control without paints or cleanup. The printed ocean pattern gives children a playful backdrop while the waterproof backing protects floors and furniture. Because marks vanish after a few minutes, kids can practice drawing, tracing and cooperative play again and again—making it useful for travel, daycare or rainy-day indoor fun.

How does the water doodle mat work and how long do drawings last?

Children fill the supplied pens with clean water and draw on the mat’s special surface. The wet strokes reveal bright, temporary colors that fade as they dry, returning the mat to a blank canvas for the next session. Drying time depends on room temperature and ventilation, typically clearing within 3 to 10 minutes.

• Refillable pens: 6 water pens included for shared play
• Temporary color: marks disappear naturally—no stains
• Typical fade window: approximately 3–10 minutes depending on airflow

What comes in the set and how big is the mat?

The kit arrives ready to use: one large mat, six water pens, eight drawing molds, four trace templates and a small instructional booklet. The mat measures 40 × 28 inches—large enough for multiple children to draw together or for a single child to work on bigger shapes and scenes.

• Mat dimensions: 40 × 28 inches for tabletop or floor play
• Accessories: 6 pens, 8 molds, 4 templates, 1 drawing booklet
• Packaging: color box making it gift-ready

Is the Toyk mat safe and easy to care for?

The surface produces vivid water marks without ink or paint, eliminating smudges and toxic pigments. The underside is a water-resistant nylon layer that shields surfaces from moisture and lets you fold the mat for compact storage. Wipe the back if needed and let the top dry between uses; no special cleaning agents are required.

• No ink or paint: safer and cleaner than traditional sets
• Water-resistant backing: protects tables and floors
• Portable and foldable: store easily or take on trips

How does this toy help a child’s development and play skills?

Repeated drawing and tracing strengthen fine motor control and hand-eye coordination while encouraging creativity without setup or cleanup. Sharing the six pens and the assortment of molds and templates encourages cooperative play, turn-taking and early cooperative art projects.

• Fine motor practice: tracing and drawing improve pencil grip
• Colour perception and creativity: visual feedback from water marks
