Which board should I use for different kitchen tasks?

Choose the size that matches the job to keep prep efficient and reduce cross-contamination. Use the large board for meat, bread, and big chopping jobs, the medium for produce and sandwiches, and the small for citrus, herbs, or cocktail garnishes.

• Large: roomy surface for meal prep and carving.
• Medium: everyday produce and sandwich assembly.
• Small: quick tasks, snacks, and garnish prep.

How does the bamboo surface affect my knives and cleaning routine?

Flat-grain Moso bamboo provides a forgiving, knife-friendly surface that helps preserve blade sharpness compared with harder surfaces. Cleaning is simple—hand wash with mild soap and warm water, then dry completely to maintain the board’s appearance and longevity.

• Knife-friendly surface reduces dulling.
• Hand wash only; avoid soaking or dishwashers.
• Dry fully before storing to prevent warping.

Is this an eco-friendly choice for my kitchen?

Yes—these boards are made from fast-growing Moso bamboo, a renewable material that Totally Bamboo has used for decades. Bamboo delivers a solid, lightweight feel and a natural look without relying on slow-growing hardwoods.

• Moso bamboo: rapid renewability and sturdy performance.
• Durable construction for everyday use.
• Lightweight boards stack or hang to save space.

What are the storage and care tips to keep them looking new?

The boards nest neatly in drawers or cabinets and the medium and large sizes feature built-in handles for hanging. Regular hand washing, complete drying, and occasional conditioning with food-safe oil will help prevent cracking and maintain color.

• Stack or hang by built-in handles for tidy storage.
• Wipe with mild soap; avoid dishwashers and soaking.
• Apply food-safe oil occasionally to preserve finish.
