Tomcat Press 'N Set Mouse Trap — 8 Disposable Spring-Loaded Traps, Touch-Free Disposal

Tomcat Press 'N Set Mouse Trap is an easy-to-use, spring-loaded disposable trap that kills mice and lets you discard them without touching the carcass.

If you want a straightforward, low-contact solution for mouse problems, these traps are designed for quick setup, reliable snapping power and hygienic disposal. The pack contains eight single-use traps (sold as four twin-packs) that use a bait well and a spring-loaded bar to deliver a fast kill. Compact and lightweight, they can be positioned wherever mice are suspected — along walls, in cupboards, garages or attics — and include a grab tab so you can toss the whole trap into the trash without handling the rodent.

How do I set a Tomcat Press 'N Set Mouse Trap?

Setting the trap takes just a few seconds and avoids fiddly parts. Add a small amount of bait in the designated well, pull the set bar back until it audibly locks and then position the trap where mice travel.

• Apply a pencil-eraser-sized dab of peanut butter into the bait well.
• Pull the set bar back until you hear a click—this confirms it is armed.
• Place bait-well side facing a wall or along baseboards where droppings or oily marks appear.
• Keep away from pets and children; replace traps after use.

Where should I place these traps for best results?

Mice prefer to run near walls and look for hidden travel lanes. Position traps in corners, along baseboards, inside cupboards or near entry points to intercept their usual routes.

• Set traps with the bait well facing the wall for direct intercepts.
• Inspect kitchens, utility rooms, garages and attics for signs of activity.
• Look for droppings, gnaw marks and oily trails to identify hotspots.
• Space multiple traps across suspected paths for improved coverage.

How do I dispose of a trap after it catches a mouse?

Disposal is designed to be touch-free: use the molded grab tab to lift and discard the entire trap. Then place it in a sealed trash bag and remove the waste according to local regulations.

• Grasp the trap by the grab tab only—do not touch the bait area or carcass.
• Drop the used trap directly into a trash bag and tie it closed.
• Wash hands thoroughly after handling trash; wear disposable gloves if preferred.
• Replace with a fresh trap to maintain protection in high-activity areas.

Who is this for? Homeowners, renters and property managers who want a fast, sanitary and simple mechanical option for mouse control will find Tomcat Press 'N Set traps useful. They suit people who prefer disposable solutions rather than reusable wood or multi-use traps, or where quick replacement and minimal contact are priorities. Ideal for kitchens, garages, attics and utility spaces, this pack of eight traps (four twin-packs) gives short-term coverage for small infestations or ongoing protection when used strategically.
