Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash golf balls — high-launch, lower full-swing spin for straighter, penetrating flight and firmer feel

The Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash is a premium golf ball engineered for players who want a high-launching ball with noticeably lower full-swing spin and a firmer feel.

Built on Titleist performance DNA, the Pro V1x Left Dash blends distance, predictable trajectory, and short-game control into a ball that performs differently from the standard Pro V1x. It aims to reduce side and long-iron spin without sacrificing overall flight consistency, giving players a straighter, more penetrating ball flight while retaining the drop-and-stop spin around the green.

How does the Left Dash change full-swing performance?

The Left Dash construction reduces full-swing spin compared with the standard Pro V1x, which helps long shots fly cleaner and resist excessive curvature. That lower spin produces a more piercing, controlled ball flight that can lead to more roll on fairways when conditions allow.

• Lower full-swing spin for straighter ball flight
• Slightly lower launch angle than Pro V1x for a penetrating trajectory
• Engineered for consistent distance across clubs

What short-game feel and control can I expect?

Despite its firmer overall feel, the Left Dash still delivers reliable short-game bite and control. Around the green it provides drop-and-stop performance that many players seek for precise wedge shots and pitch-and-run approaches.

• Drop-and-stop control on chips and pitches
• Firmer feel with predictable spin on greenside shots
• Consistent reaction from different wedge strikes

Will this ball help reduce side spin and hooks/slices?

Yes — by cutting down full-swing spin rates, the Pro V1x Left Dash can limit the amount of sidespin generated on aggressive swings, helping reduce severe hooks and slices for many players. The result is often straighter dispersion and more confidence off the tee.

• Reduced sidespin for tighter shot groups
• More predictable ball flight from driver and long irons
• Useful for players looking to tame shot shapes

How does feel compare to standard Pro V1x and when will I notice differences?

The Left Dash feels firmer on full-swing strikes compared with a standard Pro V1x, while still offering adequate feedback around the green. You’ll notice the firmer touch in longer shots and the maintained short-game control on delicate scoring strokes.

• Firmer overall feel than Pro V1x on full swings
• Similar spin and stopping power on short shots
• Performance differences most apparent with driver and long irons

This ball is for serious golfers who want the premium characteristics of a Pro V1x but prefer lower full-swing spin and a slightly firmer impact. If you’re seeking improved control off the tee, a penetrating flight, and reliable short-game performance without a soft-feel profile, the Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash is built for your game.
