Titleist Pro V1 Golf Balls - Tour Performance 12-Pack, Soft Feel & Long Distance

Designed as Titleist's flagship model, the Pro V1 blends a soft urethane cover with a speed-optimized core and a refined dimple pattern to deliver a balanced combination of distance, consistent flight, and spin control around the green. Widely used on professional tours, this ball targets players who want a reliable, performance-driven option that performs across a full set of clubs.

How does the Pro V1 affect distance and ball flight?

The Pro V1 uses a high-gradient core and a high-flex casing layer to produce strong ball speed and a penetrating trajectory. Compared with firmer models, it tends to offer a flatter, controlled flight that still covers considerable distance while remaining predictable in varying conditions.

• Faster high-gradient core for increased ball speed off irons and woods
• Speed-amplifying casing layer reduces long-game spin for longer carries
• Spherically-tiled 388 tetrahedral dimple design stabilizes flight in wind

What kind of feel and spin can I expect around the greens?

The soft cast urethane elastomer cover gives the Pro V1 a noticeably soft and responsive feel on short shots and putts. It also produces excellent greenside bite, enabling more precise control on pitch-and-run shots and chips when you need spin and stopping power.

• Soft cover material for touchy bunker and chip control
• Low long-game spin but higher short-game spin for stopping approach shots
• Consistent compression feel that players describe as responsive and controlled

How does Pro V1 compare to Pro V1x and who typically chooses it?

Pro V1 is generally softer, with less spin and a slightly lower ball flight than Pro V1x, making it preferred by players who prioritize a softer feel and the ability to flight the ball down. Players looking for maximum launch and higher spin often lean toward Pro V1x, while Pro V1 suits those who want balanced distance plus finesse around the greens.

• Softer compression and lower spin than Pro V1x for controlled shotmaking
• Preferred by players who value feel, shot-shaping, and precision
• Common choice among touring professionals and serious amateurs

What technical features make the Pro V1 consistent round after round?

Consistency stems from the ball's multi-component construction: a tuned core, a responsive casing layer, and a durable urethane cover combined with a precisely engineered dimple pattern. These elements work together to produce repeatable launch angles, spin rates, and tactile feedback from tee to green.

• High-gradient core engineered for consistent speed and compression
• 388 tetrahedral dimples for uniform aerodynamics
• Durable, soft urethane cover that holds up while maintaining feel

Who is this for? The Titleist Pro V1 is best suited for golfers who want a premium, tour-proven ball offering a soft feel, reliable distance, and precise control on approach shots and around the green. It appeals to low- to mid-handicap players and competitors who expect consistent performance and prefer a slightly lower, penetrating flight with excellent greenside spin.
