TIME TIMER 12" Original Visual Countdown Timer – 60-Min Silent Classroom Timer (Blue & White) with Dry-Erase Card

The TIME TIMER Original 12" is a large, silent 60-minute visual countdown timer designed to make time visible across classrooms and therapy spaces.

This updated 12-inch model pairs a high-contrast blue visual disk with a clean white housing to improve visibility and fit modern learning environments. Built for group instruction, therapy rooms, and shared spaces, it replaces noisy ticking with a clear visual cue of elapsed and remaining time. The oversized face, optional audible alert, and included Next Steps™ Dry Erase Activity Card help teachers and therapists manage schedules, transitions, and tasks with less verbal prompting.

How does the 12" size help in large classrooms?

The extra-large face was designed so students and staff can read the timer from across the room without moving closer. The 12-inch diameter increases the visual disk area, making time remaining obvious at a glance and reducing the need for repeated verbal reminders.

• 12-inch display visible from the back of typical classrooms
• Bold blue disk for strong contrast against the white frame
• Clear numeric markings and minute divisions for easy estimation
• Mount or place on a shelf for flexible visibility

Will it distract students with ticking sounds?

The Original 12" is engineered for silent operation so there’s no constant ticking to disrupt focus. If you want an audible cue, enable the optional alert to signal the end of a period without running a continuous sound.

• Silent mechanism prevents classroom disturbance
• Optional end-of-time alert for clean transitions
• Simple dial controls to set the full 60-minute range
• Battery-powered for cord-free placement

How can teachers and therapists use the included tools to support routines?

The package includes an oversized Next Steps™ Dry Erase Activity Card that works with the timer to create visual schedules and step-by-step routines. Pairing the card with the visible countdown helps learners anticipate transitions and follow multi-step activities with fewer verbal cues.

• Dry erase card sized to match the timer’s presence in the room
• Use for task sequencing, transition steps, or visual prompts
• Integrates with classroom management and engagement strategies
• Complimentary limited-time access to the Premium Time Timer app

What makes the blue disk and modern frame beneficial for learning spaces?

The calming blue disk reduces visual intensity while remaining highly visible, supporting sensory-friendly settings and social-emotional learning activities. The updated white frame offers a contemporary look that blends into organized classrooms, therapy offices, and common areas without drawing visual clutter.

• Soothing blue disk designed for lower visual overstimulation
• High-contrast display improves quick time recognition
• Modern white housing complements professional settings
• Durable construction for daily classroom use
