Tide Free & Gentle Liquid Laundry Detergent is an unscented, dye-free formula that delivers powerful stain removal while being formulated to reduce the risk of irritation for sensitive skin.

When everyday messes meet sensitive skin, you need a detergent that cleans thoroughly without added fragrances or dyes. This 132 fl oz bottle of Tide Free & Gentle provides approximately 100 loads of washing power that works in both standard and high-efficiency machines and across cold, warm, or hot water settings. Recognized by NEA, EPA Safer Choice, and NPF, the formula aims to balance effective stain removal with a gentle approach suitable for fragrance-free laundry routines.

How well does Tide Free & Gentle remove common stains?

This detergent is engineered to lift everyday soils and many common stains more effectively than leading free/dye-free competitors. Its concentrated cleaning agents target grease, food, and dirt so you can get garments and linens ready for wear again without strong fragrances masking residues.

• Removes oils and food-based stains with concentrated surfactants
• Formulated to work in cold water to help preserve fabrics
• Compatible with pre-treating for stubborn spots

Is this safe for people with sensitive skin and fragrance sensitivities?

Tide Free & Gentle is formulated without dyes and perfumes to help reduce the chance of irritation for sensitive skin. Although no detergent can guarantee zero reactions for everyone, many households choose this product because of its certifications and simplified ingredient profile.

• Free of added dyes and perfumes to minimize irritants
• Certified by NEA, EPA Safer Choice, and NPF for sensitive-skin considerations
• Recommended for testing on a small garment area if you have extreme sensitivity

Will it work with my washing machine and water temperature?

This Tide formula is designed to perform in both top-load and front-load machines and is suitable for high-efficiency (HE) washers. It cleans effectively in cold cycles, which helps save energy and can protect delicate fabrics from heat damage.

• HE-compatible for lower-water, high-efficiency machines
• Effective in cold, warm, or hot wash cycles
• Use the included cap for accurate dosing to avoid overdosing

How much detergent is included and how do I measure doses?

The 132 fl oz bottle provides about 100 loads depending on soil level and water hardness. The bottle cap doubles as a measuring cup; follow package dosing guidance for standard, heavily soiled, or HE loads to get consistent results and avoid product waste.

• 132 fluid ounces — approximately 100 loads
• Measuring cap included for easy dosing
• Adjust amounts for heavily soiled items or large loads

Who is this for: Tide Free & Gentle is a practical choice for households that want strong stain removal without fragrances or dyes — especially families with sensitive skin, caregivers washing baby clothing, and anyone preferring an unscented laundry routine. It suits both standard and HE machines and works well for everyday clothing, linens, and washable baby items.
