thyseed Baby Transition Sippy Cup 10 oz — Spill-Proof Weighted Straw, Soft Silicone Spout (6m+), BPA-Free

The Thyseed Spill-Proof Weighted Straw Sippy Cup is a 10 oz baby transition trainer with a soft, bite-resistant silicone spout, leak-resistant lid, and a weighted straw that lets infants drink from any angle.

Designed for the first steps away from bottle feeding, this German-engineered cup blends a breast-like silicone spout with practical features parents need: a spill-resistant lid, removable small-hand grips, and durable, BPA-free materials. The 10 oz capacity suits daytime hydration and brief outings while the included straw brush and wide opening simplify cleaning. Built for infants six months and older, the cup aims to support independent sipping without excess mess.

How does the weighted straw make drinking easier for little ones?

The cup’s weighted straw tracks the liquid so babies can tilt and sip at different angles instead of needing to tip the entire cup. This helps maintain suction and reduces the frustration of dry gulps while building coordination and confidence.

• Weighted silicone straw follows liquid level for near-any-angle drinking
• Flexible connection reduces jerky movement and spills
• Straw length matched to 10 oz shape to minimize air intake

What safety and materials features matter to parents?

Every component is made without BPA and designed to resist microplastic release, using durable PPSU plastic for temperature resilience and long-term use. The silicone spout—made in Germany—is bite-resistant and gentle on developing gums while being free from harmful additives.

• BPA-free, microplastic-release-tested plastics
• German-made soft silicone spout with bite resistance
• Dishwasher-safe (top rack) and compatible with steam sterilizers

How easy is the cup to clean and maintain?

The regulator-sized opening and fully removable parts make the cup straightforward to disassemble for regular washing. A straw-cleaning brush is included so you can reach narrow passages and keep the weighted end hygienic between uses.

• Wide mouth for quick rinsing and filling
• Removable straw, lid, and handles for full access
• Included cleaning brush for the straw and safe top-rack dishwasher use

Will this cup help my child learn to drink independently?

Yes—the compact 10 oz size with removable handles is tailored for small hands to grasp and lift, while the breast-like spout eases the sensory shift away from a bottle. As motor skills develop, the handles can be removed so toddlers practice standard cup control.

• Removable, ergonomically sized handles for early gripping
• Soft spout mimics familiar feeding sensations for smoother weaning
• Lightweight design encourages self-feeding and confidence building

Who is this for: The Thyseed Spill-Proof Weighted Straw Sippy Cup is intended for parents and caregivers of infants six months and older who are transitioning from bottles to cups. It’s a practical choice for families looking for a durable, easy-to-clean trainer with spill protection and a soft spout for sensitive gums—suitable for travel, daycare, and everyday home use.
