ThunderEase Calming Collar for Dogs — Large size, drug-free pheromone relief up to 30 days for noise & separation stress

ThunderEase Calming Collar for Dogs (Large) is a drug-free, vet-recommended collar that releases a soothing pheromone analog to help reduce stress-related behaviors in adult dogs for up to 30 days.

Moving into a new home, a thunderstorm, fireworks, travel or a veterinary visit can trigger stress in dogs that shows up as barking, chewing, trembling or house-soiling. The ThunderEase Calming Collar uses ADAPTIL pheromone analog technology to emulate the natural calming scent mother dogs produce, offering continuous comfort without medication. It’s easy to attach, activates with body heat, and is designed to be safe around family members and other pets.

How does the collar help when loud noises or storms happen?

The collar emits a steady pheromone signal that mimics maternal comfort, helping many dogs feel safer during sudden or predictable noise events. It doesn’t block sound, but it can reduce the intensity of stress responses so your dog behaves calmer during fireworks or thunder.

• Provides continuous calming scent for up to 30 days per collar.
• Activates with your dog’s body heat—no batteries or sprays required.
• Non-drug approach safe for households with people and other pets.
• Often used alongside desensitization or training for best results.

Will the collar help with separation anxiety or crate training?

For separation stress and crate training, the collar supports calmer behavior by reinforcing a reassuring scent environment when your dog is alone. It can lessen signs like barking, pacing, and whining, making training sessions and alone time more manageable.

• Works continuously to support calm while you’re away.
• Can be combined with crate-training routines and positive reinforcement.
• Recommended for use at home, in kennels, or during boarding stays.
• Safe to use daily; replace monthly for ongoing support.

How do I fit and use the large ThunderEase collar on my dog?

The collar is designed for larger dogs and clips on easily for a secure fit. Simply fasten it around the neck so the diffuser section rests against the dog's fur; the animal’s body heat activates the pheromone release automatically.

• Measure neck circumference to ensure the large size fits comfortably.
• Clip on and trim excess strap if needed for safety and comfort.
• Each collar provides up to 30 days of continuous release.
• Replace monthly or as recommended for continuous calming support.

What specific behaviors or situations can this collar help with?

The ThunderEase collar is formulated to address a wide range of stress-related behaviors without pharmaceuticals. It’s commonly used for noise fears, travel anxiety, social unease, destructive chewing, problem barking and adaptation to new environments.

• Reduces stress during thunderstorms, fireworks and loud events.
• Supports calmer travels, vet visits, grooming and boarding.
• Helps curb unwanted behaviors tied to anxiety, like chewing.
• Can be part of a broader calming strategy that includes training.

Who is this for? ThunderEase Calming Collar (Large) is intended for owners of adult large-breed dogs that show signs of situational or ongoing stress—those seeking a non-drug, veterinarian-recommended option to help reduce anxiety-driven behaviors. It’s a practical choice for pet parents who want continuous, hands-off support during thunderstorms, fireworks, travel, vet visits, new environments, or everyday separation. For best results, consider pairing the collar with behavioral training, environment management, and other calming tools as needed.
