ThruNite Archer 2A C is a compact, dual-switch LED flashlight delivering up to 1018 lumens with USB-C recharge and AA battery backup for dependable everyday and emergency use.

The Archer 2A C combines high output, user-friendly controls and rugged construction in a truly pocketable package. It upgrades the Archer line with a brighter LED and longer throw while keeping multiple power options: built-in USB-C charging for daily convenience and the ability to run on two standard AA cells when you’re off-grid. The result is a versatile light for daily carry, outdoor adventure and home emergency readiness.

How bright is this flashlight in real situations?

The Archer 2A C produces a maximum of 1018 lumens with a concentrated beam that reaches approximately 167 meters, making it suitable for illuminating trails, yards, and distant objects. In AA backup mode it still provides around 500 lumens and a useful throw of 93 meters, maintaining strong performance without the internal battery.

• Max output: 1018 lumens at 7000 candela for long-range visibility
• Throw distance: up to 167 meters on high
• AA mode: ~500 lumens and 93 meters throw when using standard AA cells
• Cool white LED for crisp, high-contrast illumination

What power and charging options does it offer?

This light is designed for flexibility: use the built-in rechargeable battery and refill it quickly via USB-C, or swap in two AA cells when a cable or charger isn’t available. The AA fallback keeps you lit during extended outings or unexpected power loss, so the flashlight is never tied to a single power source.

• Integrated USB-C port for fast, convenient charging
• Accepts two standard AA cells (not included) for immediate backup power
• Seamless switching between internal battery and AA mode
• Charging status and reliable runtime for everyday use

How easy is it to operate in the dark or under stress?

Two dedicated switches give immediate access to both tactical bursts and user modes: a tail switch for instant momentary or constant-on tactical output, and a side switch to cycle practical settings including Firefly, Low, Medium, High and a one-press Strobe. The layout prevents accidental mode changes while allowing rapid transitions between everyday and tactical use.

• Tail switch: momentary and constant-on tactical activation
• Side switch: cycles Firefly, Low, Medium, High and quick Strobe
• No complex menus—single-click access to essential modes
• Designed to avoid accidental switching during carry or activity

How durable and portable is the Archer 2A C?

Built from aerospace-grade aluminum with a Type-III hard-anodized finish, the Archer 2A C resists abrasion, dust and water, carrying IPX8 submersion protection and 1-meter impact resistance. Despite its rugged build, it remains slender and light—about 6 inches long and just 3.56 ounces—so it slips into pockets, packs or glove compartments without bulk.

• Aerospace-grade aluminum body with Type-III hard-anodizing
• IPX8 waterproofing and dust-sealed construction
• Compact dimensions and lightweight: easy everyday carry
• 1-meter impact tested for dependable field performance
