This Matte Steel THERMOS Stainless King food jar is built for commuters, hikers, and anyone who wants a reliable, compact solution to carry a fresh meal. Its double-wall vacuum insulation and 18/8 stainless-steel construction deliver long-lasting temperature retention while resisting condensation and holding up to daily use. With a wide mouth for easy filling and eating, a leak-proof lid, and a convenient foldable spoon, this jar replaces disposable containers and vending-machine meals with homemade food on the go.

How long will the THERMOS Stainless King keep my food hot or cold?

The jar uses vacuum insulation to minimize heat transfer, so hot dishes stay warm and chilled foods remain cool for many hours. Actual performance depends on the starting temperature and how often you open the jar.

• Hot foods: up to 9 hours of warmth under typical conditions.
• Cold foods: up to 14 hours of chill retention.
• Preheating tip: rinse with boiling water for 5 minutes to maximize hot retention before filling.

Is this food jar leak-proof and travel-ready?

The lid seals securely and the pressure-relief stopper helps prevent accidental spills when opening. Its compact 16oz size and durable stainless-steel body make it suitable for backpacks, cup holders, and office bags.

• Leak-proof design when lid is closed — prevents messes in transit.
• Pressure-relief stopper reduces splatter when unsealing hot contents.
• Weight and shape fit most cup holders and pack pockets.

How do I use and clean the Stainless King food jar?

Prepare by preheating or pre-chilling the jar with hot or cold water for several minutes, then empty before adding your meal. Disassemble components for routine cleaning; the jar is top-rack dishwasher safe, though hand washing extends finish life.

• Preheat/pre-chill: fill, wait 5–10 minutes, then empty before filling with food.
• Wide mouth allows easy scooping and utensil access.
• Foldable stainless-steel spoon stores inside for mess-free carrying.

What makes the THERMOS Stainless King durable and safe for food?

The jar is crafted from 18/8 stainless steel with double-wall construction to resist dents and maintain flavor integrity. It’s sweat-proof on the exterior with cold contents and remains comfortable to handle with hot meals.

• 18/8 stainless-steel interior and exterior — corrosion resistant and flavor neutral.
• Double-wall vacuum insulation prevents external sweating and reduces heat transfer.
• Includes a foldable spoon made from stainless steel for durable, reusable use.
