THERMOS Insulated FunTainer Food Jar 16oz Neon Purple — Vacuum-Insulated Kids' Lunch Jar with Foldable Spoon

The THERMOS FUNTAINER 16oz Neon Purple is an insulated kids' food jar with a foldable stainless-steel spoon that keeps hot meals warm and cold snacks chilled for hours.

Designed for school lunches, after-school activities, and on-the-go snacks, this 16-ounce stainless steel food jar combines vacuum insulation with a compact, kid-friendly build. Its push-button lid, wide mouth, and integrated spoon make packing and eating simple, while the double-wall construction reduces temperature transfer so foods stay at the intended temperature longer.

How long will this jar keep my child’s food hot or cold?

The FUNTAINER's vacuum-insulated 18/8 stainless steel body maintains heat and cold by minimizing thermal exchange. Typical performance keeps hot foods warm for up to several hours and cold items chilled for longer, depending on initial temperature and conditions.

• Vacuum insulation helps preserve temperature for hours.
• Preheat or pre-chill with tap water for 5–10 minutes to boost performance.
• Wide mouth reduces heat loss while filling and eating.
• Exact time depends on contents and ambient temperature.

What makes it kid-friendly and easy to use on school days?

Every detail targets convenience for children and parents: the jar is lightweight, fits most lunch boxes, and includes a foldable spoon stored in the lid so you don’t need to pack extra utensils. A push-button lid opens easily, and the wide-mouth finish simplifies spooning and cleaning.

• Foldable stainless-steel spoon stores inside the lid.
• Compact, lightweight shape fits standard lunch boxes.
• Push-button lid for quick one-handed opening.
• Wide mouth makes scooping and washing straightforward.

Is the jar durable and safe for everyday use?

The jar is built from 18/8 stainless steel with double-wall construction to resist dents and everyday wear. It’s BPA-free and designed to be sweat-proof so the exterior stays comfortable to touch even with hot contents inside.

• 18/8 stainless steel resists dings and corrosion.
• BPA-free materials for food contact safety.
• Sweat-proof exterior prevents condensation on the outside.
• Dishwasher-safe on top rack; hand washing recommended for longevity.

How do I get the best temperature performance from the FUNTAINER?

Small preparation steps improve insulation: rinse the jar with hot water before filling hot meals or chill it with cold water for cold items. Keeping the lid closed until serving and filling as fully as practical will help retain temperature.

• Preheat or pre-chill by filling with hot or cold tap water for 5–10 minutes.
• Fill the jar close to capacity to reduce air space.
• Close the lid immediately after filling to lock in temperature.
• Store in a shaded or insulated lunch tote when possible.

Who is this for: The THERMOS FUNTAINER 16oz Neon Purple is ideal for parents packing lunches for elementary and middle-school kids who want temperature-controlled meals without extra containers or utensils. It also suits caretakers and busy families who need a durable, compact food jar for soups, yogurts, pasta, fruit with dip, and other everyday lunches or snacks.
