The THERMOS FUNTAINER 12oz Grey is a vacuum-insulated stainless steel kids' water bottle with a removable straw that keeps drinks cold up to 12 hours.

This compact bottle is engineered for everyday kid use: it fits most backpack pockets and cup holders, stands up to drops, and aims to replace single-use plastic bottles. It's BPA-free and designed for cold beverages only.

How long will a drink stay cold in the FUNTAINER 12oz?

The double-wall vacuum insulation helps maintain low temperatures for extended periods so cold drinks stay refreshing through school days and activities. While performance varies with liquid volume and starting temperature, the bottle is rated to keep drinks cold for up to about 12 hours under typical conditions.

• Double-wall vacuum insulation reduces heat transfer.
• Stainless steel interior resists flavor transfer and odors.
• Best results with pre-chilled beverages and minimal lid opening.

Is this bottle easy for kids to use and clean?

Yes — the FUNTAINER features a simple push-button lid that reveals a hygienic cover over a removable silicone straw, making drinking and cleaning straightforward. The soft-touch carry handle is molded for small hands and the exterior resists sweating so it won’t make backpacks damp.

• Push-button pop-up lid for one-handed opening.
• Removable silicone straw detaches for thorough rinsing.
• Dishwasher-top-rack safe, though hand washing is recommended for longevity.

Will the bottle survive rough use at school and play?

Built from 18/8 stainless steel, the FUNTAINER is made to handle everyday bumps and tumbles without denting performance. The outer finish and secure lid are designed to stay intact through backpacks, sports, and playground play.

• 18/8 stainless steel construction for strength and corrosion resistance.
• Leak-resistant when the lid is closed to prevent spills in bags.
• Sweat-proof exterior keeps hands and possessions dry.

Can this bottle replace disposable plastic bottles?
