Thermacell Fuel‑ZoneGuard Mosquito & Multi‑Insect Repellent Refills — 24 Mats + 8 Butane Cartridges, 96‑Hr Protection (15‑ft Zone)

Thermacell Fuel-ZoneGuard Refills deliver a 15-foot insect protection zone for up to 96 hours using 24 repellent mats and 8 twelve-hour fuel cartridges — no sprays or lotions required.

If mosquitoes, black flies, or no-see-ums cut your outdoor time short, these genuine Thermacell refills keep a consistent, scent-free barrier around your seating area. Designed specifically for Fuel-ZoneGuard repellers, the kit includes pre-measured repellent mats and butane fuel cartridges that heat the mats to disperse the active ingredient, creating a mosquito-free space without smoke, open flames, or skin application.

How quickly will I get protection after I set it up?

The repeller begins heating immediately once the fuel cartridge is engaged and reaches full effectiveness in about 15 minutes. You’ll notice a persistent protection zone once the mat has warmed and started dispersing repellent, and it remains steady for the mat’s rated duration.

• Immediate heat-up when butane cartridge clicks into place
• Full protection typically within 15 minutes
• Each mat provides approximately 4 hours of active coverage
• Butane cartridges last about 12 hours each

What insects does the Fuel-ZoneGuard formula keep away?

The proprietary repellent targets mosquitoes primarily and also reduces black flies and no-see-ums within a smaller radius. Its EPA-reviewed formulation is optimized for outdoor zones rather than personal topical use, so it protects a space rather than an individual’s skin.

• Effective mosquito protection up to a 15-foot radius
• Reduces black flies and no-see-ums within roughly a 10-foot zone
• Works without DEET contact or messy sprays
• Scent-free and smoke-free operation for outdoor comfort

How do I use and maintain the refills with my Thermacell repeller?

Refilling is straightforward: slide a repellent mat under the repeller grill, insert a fuel cartridge, and click the unit on a few times to ignite heating. When finished, switch the device off; there is no dead-bug cleanup and minimal maintenance beyond replacing mats and cartridges as they’re used.

• Slide in one 4-hour mat per use
• Twist and secure a 12-hour butane cartridge to power heating
• Click 2–3 times to start; shut off when done
• Only genuine Thermacell refills are guaranteed compatible

Is this safe for people and pets in outdoor settings?

Thermacell refills are independently tested and reviewed by regulatory authorities for outdoor use and are formulated to produce an effective protection zone without direct skin application. As with any repellent device, follow manufacturer directions and use the device outdoors only, keeping it away from children and pets when handling cartridges.

• EPA-reviewed for outdoor use and effectiveness
• No topical DEET application needed
• Scent-free operation reduces nuisance odors
• Use per instructions; store cartridges safely
