Thermacell Fuel-ZoneGuard Extreme mosquito repeller — Green matte, 15-ft scent-free zone, 12-hr fuel

Thermacell Fuel-ZoneGuard Extreme is a portable, fuel-powered mosquito repeller that creates a scent-free 15-foot zone of protection for outdoor activities.

Designed for anglers, hunters, campers, and backyard use, this compact Thermacell unit runs on a 12-hour fuel cartridge and uses heat-activated repellent mats to keep mosquitoes away without sprays, smoke, or sticky lotions. The device is cordless and quiet, producing an invisible barrier that begins working within minutes to help preserve the enjoyment of outdoor time.

How does the Fuel-ZoneGuard Extreme work to fend off mosquitoes?

The repeller uses a small fuel cartridge to generate heat that vaporizes an allethrin-based repellent from replaceable mats. That vapor disperses as an invisible perimeter that deters mosquitoes from flying into the immediate area.

• 12-hour fuel cartridge powers the heating element without batteries or cords.
• Repellent mats are scent-free and each lasts up to four hours.
• Creates approximately a 15-foot radius of protection around the unit.

What makes this model suitable for hunting and stealthy outdoor use?

The Fuel-ZoneGuard Extreme is engineered to offer mosquito protection without smoke, flames, or strong odors that could alert game or disturb the environment. Its rugged build and silent operation suit it to treestands, blinds, and remote campsites.

• Matte-green finish blends into outdoor gear and foliage.
• No combustion, open flame, or visible smoke to spook wildlife.
• Compact form factor clips or sits on gear; easy to reposition.

How long will the repeller keep working during a trip?

Runtime depends on the included fuel cartridge and mats. The single 12-hour cartridge provides continuous heat for extended use, while mats each offer up to four hours of repellent time and are simple to swap when spent.

• One 12-hour fuel cartridge included for all-day heating.
• Three repellent mats included, each lasting about four hours.
• Change mats easily; an indicator color change shows when replacement is needed.

Is the Fuel-ZoneGuard Extreme safe and easy to use?

Yes — the device is designed for outdoor use and to minimize direct contact with chemicals. The repellent formulation is EPA-reviewed and the system keeps active ingredients off skin and clothing, while the operation requires just a few simple steps.

• Simple setup: insert fuel cartridge, load mat, and ignite heat source.
• Repellent is emitted as an invisible vapor, not applied to skin.
• People- and pet-friendly when used as directed; follow outdoor-use instructions.

Who is this for?
