The Skimmie handheld spa skimmer - fine mesh scoop, white with suction-cup handle for hot tubs & small pools

The Skimmie Scoop is a patented handheld skimmer with a fine mesh net and suction-cup handle designed to remove the smallest floating debris from spas, hot tubs, cold plunges and small pools.

Lightweight and engineered for compact storage, this handheld skimmer combines a durable ABS frame with a fine, high-density mesh to catch hair, pollen, and tiny particles that clog filters and dull water clarity. Its streamlined shape fits into filter compartments or mounts to smooth interior walls via a built-in suction cup for quick access between uses. The Skimmie Scoop is intended for smooth surfaces and smaller water features where precise debris removal matters.

How does the Skimmie Scoop improve water cleanliness?

The fine mesh captures tiny suspended debris before it reaches the main filter, which helps maintain stronger water circulation and reduces the frequency of deep filter cleanings. Removing particles by hand keeps surfaces and jets clearer, improving the overall look and feel of the water.

• Fine high-density mesh catches pollen, hair, and small organic debris.
• Compact shape reaches into filter compartments and corners.
• Reduces load on mechanical filters by removing micro-debris early.

Will the suction cup hold the skimmer where I need it?

The Skimmie Scoop includes a strong suction cup on the handle so you can attach it to smooth, flat spa or tub walls for storage and quick retrieval. It provides secure placement on glossy or non-textured surfaces but is not intended for rough or textured finishes.

• Powerful suction for smooth acrylic or fiberglass walls.
• Easy to reposition without tools—just press and release.
• Not recommended for textured or pebble-finish surfaces.

Is this skimmer built to withstand spa conditions?

Yes—the frame and mesh use premium ABS-grade materials selected for heat resistance and chemical durability commonly found in spa environments. That construction keeps the net intact through regular rinsing and handling without warping or breaking.

• Durable ABS plastic resists spa temperatures and cleaning agents.
• Tough frame design maintains shape under repeated use.
• Fine mesh resists tearing while catching very small particles.

How does the Skimmie Scoop fit into a regular maintenance routine?

Its compact profile makes the tool easy to use during quick weekly checks or daily skims; slip it into the filter compartment or mount it to the wall so it’s always on hand. A few minutes with the Skimmie Scoop prevents buildup and helps keep filters running efficiently.

• Store on the wall or inside the filter compartment for ready access.
• Use during quick surface skims to remove floating debris before filters engage.
• Perfect for spot cleaning between full maintenance sessions.

Who is this for: The Skimmie Scoop is ideal for spa and hot tub owners, cold plunge users, parents with inflatable kiddie pools, and anyone with a small pool, pond or fountain who wants a practical, compact tool for removing fine floating debris. It’s particularly useful for people who need a lightweight, durable skimmer that stores easily and helps extend filter life by catching the smallest particles before they circulate.
