The Honest Kitchen cold‑pressed Grain Free Chicken dry dog food for small breeds, 4 lb — cage‑free chicken & probiotics

Whole Food Clusters Small Breed Grain Free Chicken is a human‑grade, cold‑pressed dry dog food made in small batches for little mouths, with cage‑free chicken, vegetables, salmon oil and probiotics.

This recipe was developed with a veterinary nutritionist and manufactured in a human‑food facility to preserve real‑food nutrients and texture. Each bite is cold pressed, slow roasted and gently dehydrated to create crunchy, cluster‑style kibbles sized for small breed dogs. The formula avoids rendered meals and common synthetic additives while including beneficial fats and live support ingredients to suit busy pet households that want transparent sourcing.

What makes these clusters a good fit for small breed dogs?

The clusters are intentionally sized and textured for small mouths and shorter muzzles, making them easy to pick up and chew. The combination of cold pressing and light roasting retains whole‑food flavors and nutrient integrity without turning ingredients into low‑quality meals or fillers.

• Small, bite‑friendly cluster shape for puppies and toy breeds
• Cage‑free chicken as a primary whole‑food protein source
• Salmon oil included for palatable omega fats
• Probiotics added for digestive support

How is this formula processed differently than typical kibble?

Instead of high‑heat extrusion, this food is cold pressed then slowly roasted and dehydrated so ingredients stay closer to their natural state. That method limits nutrient damage and yields a crunchy, whole‑food texture that small dogs find appealing without relying on artificial binders.

• Cold pressing preserves sensitive vitamins and oils
• Slow roasting enhances taste without excessive heat
• Dehydration reduces moisture while keeping texture intact
• Made in a human‑grade facility to higher safety standards

Can I feed this as a full meal or a topper?

Yes — the recipe is formulated to serve as a complete and balanced diet for puppies and adult dogs, or it can be used as a nutritious topper to boost flavor and whole‑food content. Follow feeding guidelines on the bag and adjust amounts based on your dog’s size, activity and life stage.

• Complete and balanced for multiple life stages when fed per label directions
• Works well mixed with wet food or sprinkled over meals
• Suitable for smaller breeds that require concentrated nutrition
• AAFCO feeding trial substantiation for in‑home performance

What ingredients and additives are intentionally excluded?

The formula avoids common low‑quality components and synthetic additives often found in mass‑market pet foods. Ingredients are chosen to be recognizable and minimally processed, matching the brand’s human‑grade philosophy.

• No rendered meat meals or feed‑grade ingredients
• No gums, carrageenan, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives
• No GMO ingredients or unnecessary fillers
• Includes whole vegetables and responsibly sourced proteins
