tdcokhe Diatomaceous Earth Dish Drying Mat Set — 24×16 Stone Mat + 8×4 Coaster, Fast‑Drying & Collapsible

A fast‑drying diatomaceous earth dish drying mat set that soaks up water, keeps counters dry, and collapses for easy storage.

tdcokhe’s Large Stone Dish Drying Mats combine a roomy 24"×16" stone mat with a small 8"×4" coaster to organize washed dishes, cups, and accessories while rapidly absorbing moisture. Made from food‑grade diatomaceous earth, this pair is designed to replace bulky terry towels and draining racks, offering a low‑profile, eco‑friendly surface that dries surfaces quickly and resists lingering dampness.

How fast will the stone mat absorb water and keep my countertop dry?

The mat’s diatomaceous earth composition pulls surface moisture into its porous structure within minutes, leaving a dry touch that reduces puddles and mildew risk. It’s ideal for daily dish turnover where quick evaporation matters.

• Absorbs surface water rapidly to minimize pooling
• Porous stone surface helps moisture evaporate faster than fabric
• Reduces need to wipe counters after each use

Is the material safe for foodware and easy to maintain?

Yes — the mat is produced from tested, food‑grade diatomaceous earth that’s non‑toxic and suitable for contact with dishes and utensils. Maintenance is straightforward: rinse occasionally, air dry, and use the included sanding tool for restoring surface absorbency if needed.

• Food‑grade diatomaceous earth, non‑toxic and countertop‑safe
• Comes with a sanding tool to renew the surface when needed
• Rinse and air‑dry to remove mild residue or odors

Will the set work on different kitchen tasks and fit my space?

The larger mat accommodates plates, bowls, and multiple cups while the smaller coaster is perfect for soap, sponges, or a single cup. The collapsible design lets you store the mat flat in cabinets or drawers when not in use, saving counter space in small kitchens.

• 24"×16" mat holds multiple items; 8"×4" coaster keeps accessories off the counter
• Collapsible, low‑profile shape for easy storage
• Also useful as a heat‑proof trivet, plant saucer, or pet feeding mat

How do I avoid stains and deal with shipping odor?

Diatomaceous earth is porous and can pick up strong pigments, so avoid prolonged contact with coffee, red wine, or dark sauces to reduce staining. A faint earthy scent from transit is normal; rinsing and air‑drying removes it quickly.

• Avoid spilling dark beverages directly on the surface to prevent stains
• Rinse and air‑dry to dissipate any shipping‑related odor
• Use included instructions for best longevity practices
