TaylorMade Noodle Long & Soft DDZ golf balls, White 24-pack — ultra-soft 34 compression, 342-dimple distance design

TaylorMade Noodle Long & Soft DDZ is a 24-pack white golf ball engineered to deliver longer carry with an ultra-soft feel through a low 34 compression core and a patented dimple pattern.

Designed for golfers who want added distance without sacrificing a soft touch around the greens, the Noodle Long & Soft DDZ blends aerodynamic engineering with a forgiving compression core. The ball’s 342 dimples reduce drag and stabilize flight, while an IOTHANE cover and impact propulsion core create a balance of resilient energy transfer and responsive feel. This product copy explains what the ball does, why its construction matters, and who benefits most from using it.

How does this ball produce more distance without feeling harsh?

The Noodle Long & Soft DDZ combines a low-compression 34 core with an impact-propulsion layer that returns energy efficiently at impact, promoting longer carry. The ultra-soft core reduces vibration and delivers a comfortable sensation, especially on mishits and short-game shots.

• 34 compression core for reduced vibration and increased launch speed.
• Impact propulsion layer that boosts ball speed off the clubface.
• IOTHANE cover that balances durability with a softer touch.

What role do the 342 dimples play in ball flight?

The ball’s patented 342-dimple pattern is tuned to cut air resistance and promote a more stable, penetrating trajectory. By reducing turbulent airflow and optimizing lift-to-drag characteristics, the dimples help the ball maintain momentum for longer carry distances.

• 342 aerodynamic dimples engineered for lower drag.
• Dimple placement that encourages straighter flight and reduced wobble.
• Consistent flight performance across various swing speeds.

Will this ball give me better feel and spin around the greens?

Yes—the soft IOTHANE cover and responsive core work together to produce improved short-game feel and enhanced greenside control. While the ball emphasizes distance off the tee, its cover construction allows for reliable spin and touch on chips and pitches.

• Soft cover material increases bite on wedge hits.
• Responsive core helps translate feel into controllable spin.
• Balanced design avoids extreme spin that can reduce distance off the tee.

How durable is the construction for frequent play?

Durability is built into the Noodle Long & Soft DDZ with a resilient IOTHANE cover that withstands everyday scuffs and maintains consistent performance over many holes. The combination of a robust cover and stable core means the ball keeps its feel and flight characteristics round after round.

• IOTHANE cover resists cuts and abrasion while remaining soft to the touch.
• Impact-propulsion core preserves energy transfer through repeated impacts.
• Quality control in packaging ensures uniform performance across the 24-ball pack.

Who is this for? The TaylorMade Noodle Long & Soft DDZ (pack of 24) is suited for mid- to high-handicap golfers, seniors, and players seeking extra carry without a firm sensation at impact. It’s also a practical choice for recreational players who value forgiveness, reliable feel around the greens, and a budget-friendly multi-pack. If you prioritize softer feel on approach and consistent distance from the tee, this ball gives a carefully engineered blend of aerodynamics, core design, and cover technology.
