Tamagotchi handheld digital pet — Orange Tropics zoom dial, Lab Mode & multiplayer

Tamagotchi Paradise - Orange Tropics is a handheld digital pet that lets you zoom from cell to space to nurture, play mini-games, shop in Lab Mode, and connect with friends. Start your adventure in the Orange Tropics where a rotating zoom dial changes how you care for your Tama — from tiny cellular care to familiar planet-level interaction. The device combines classic Tamagotchi nurturing with new Lab Mode mini-games, a shop, breeding mechanics, and three unlockable fields (Tropics, Glacier, Forest). It runs on two AAA batteries (not included) and supports nine languages.

How does the zoom dial change gameplay?

The zoom dial alters your viewpoint and interactions. At the "cell" level you handle detailed care tasks and new micro-interactions; at "planet" level you manage daily needs and play traditional Tamagotchi activities. Switching views reveals different mini-games, items, and ways to influence growth and evolution.

• Cell-level care: focused healing and micro mini-games.
• Planet-level care: feeding, cleaning, and social interactions.
• Zoom-dependent items and shop selections.

What new features does Lab Mode add?

Lab Mode expands play with a shop, extra nurturing activities, and exclusive mini-games that aren’t available in classic Tamagotchi devices. You can use the Lab to buy items, experiment with gameplay mechanics, and discover new Tama types through breeding and interactions.

• Buy cosmetics and consumables in the Lab shop.
• Play Lab-only mini-games for rewards and items.
• Use Lab activities to influence breeding outcomes and unlock Tamas.

How do connection and multiplayer work?

You can connect directly with another device to let Tamas interact, see compatibility, and play mini-games cooperatively or competitively. Connecting enables breeding interactions and multiplayer mini-games, though some connection features differ by Tamagotchi model.

• Direct device-to-device linking for social play.
• Play mini-games with or against friends for items and fun.
• Exchange genetics through breeding to create new Tama generations.

What characters and progression can I expect?

Tamagotchi Paradise supports a huge variety of outcomes — raise over 50 distinct characters across 12 species and discover more than 30 new Tamas. Your care style, field environment, and breeding choices steer which characters appear. Additional fields and content can be unlocked to expand variety and replayability.

• Over 50 different character outcomes and 12 species.
• More than 30 newly introduced Tama characters in this series.
• Unlock Glacier and Forest fields for unique Tamas and items.
