How much paper can this hole punch handle at once?

This two-hole punch is rated to cut up to 28 standard sheets of 20-pound paper in a single press. The punch blades produce two clean 1/4" holes suitable for most two-ring and binder systems.

• Maximum capacity: 28 sheets (20 lb standard copy paper)
• Hole size: 1/4 inch (6 mm) diameter
• Evenly spaced holes for standard two-ring formats
• Metal cutting mechanism for consistent performance

What makes the handle easier to use than other punches?

Swingline engineered the wide, padded comfort handle to halve the manual force usually needed for a hole punch. The oversized grip distributes pressure across your palm, reducing fatigue during repetitive jobs.

• Padded, wide handle for improved grip and comfort
• Requires up to 50% less effort compared to conventional punches
• Locking feature secures handle closed for storage and safety
• Large pressing surface helps users maintain even pressure

How does it help keep workspaces clean and accurate?

Built-in features focus on neat results and simple maintenance. A removable non-skid scrap tray collects paper chads for easy emptying, while the adjustable paper guide ensures holes are aligned consistently across stacks.

• Removable bottom tray for quick disposal of paper scraps
• Non-skid base keeps the punch steady during use
• Adjustable paper guide for repeatable hole placement
• Metal construction resists wear for long-term accuracy

Is this punch sturdy enough for frequent office use?

Yes — the Swingline two-hole punch uses a metal frame and cutting components designed for ongoing, high-frequency tasks. The durable construction resists bending and maintains alignment, so the tool performs reliably over many cycles.

• All-metal body for durability and longevity
• Precision blades for clean, consistent holes through many sheets
• Locking handle reduces storage footprint and protects blades
• Compact footprint fits standard desk or supply drawer
