SwimWays Finding Dory Mr. Ray’s Dive & Catch Game — 6‑Piece Pool Set with Net & Floating Characters, Travel-Friendly

Mr. Ray’s Dive and Catch Game by SwimWays is a 6-piece Finding Dory pool set—one net and five floating character figures—designed to turn dive practice into imaginative play.

Bring the reef to your backyard pool with this officially licensed Disney Finding Dory playset. Children toss the colorful characters—Dory, Nemo, Pearl, Sheldon, and Kathy—into the water and retrieve them using the Mr. Ray net. Each figure floats at a slightly different depth to encourage diving, swimming and underwater searching, so practice feels like a game. The compact, travel-friendly design also works for baths, beaches, and lakes, making it a simple way to add familiar characters to swim lessons and free play.

How does this game help kids feel more confident in the water?

By turning submersion and retrieval into a playful task, the set encourages repeated, low-pressure practice of diving and breath control. Children chase and catch favorite characters, which motivates them to enter deeper water and improve their underwater skills without traditional drills.

• Five character figures float at varied depths to promote different dive challenges.
• Net encourages coordination and underwater reach rather than just surface grabbing.
• Play-based approach reduces fear and increases willingness to try new skills.

What exactly is included and what are the toy dimensions?

The package contains six pieces: one Mr. Ray net and five small Finding Dory character figures. Each dive figure is sized for little hands and measures approximately 6 inches long by 0.5 inch wide by 1 inch high; the set is lightweight and designed for easy handling in and out of water.

• 1 x Mr. Ray net for catching floating figures.
• 5 x character figures: Dory, Nemo, Pearl, Sheldon, Kathy.
• Compact pieces that are travel-friendly and stow easily in a pool bag.

Can this set be used outside the pool and with what safety considerations?

Yes—these waterproof figures work well in bathtubs, at the beach, and during lake outings or bath time role play. They are recommended for children 5 years and older; adult supervision is advised whenever kids play in or near water.

• Designed for both indoor baths and outdoor water play.
• Use with adult supervision, especially for swimming or deeper water.
• Small parts are sized for older preschoolers and above—keep away from very young children.

How do I get the most from playtime with this set?

Mix structured practice with free play: set challenges like timed retrievals, color or character hunts, and team relay races. Rotate the depth of the figures or add simple targets to increase difficulty as skills grow.

• Create progressive games: easy surface catches to deeper dives.
• Use characters for storytelling to keep reluctant swimmers engaged.
• Combine with other SwimWays toys for varied practice and skill-building.
