Swihauk Self-Cleaning Slicker Brush for Dogs & Cats, Black — Soft Round-Tip Bristles & One-Press Hair Release

Swihauk's Self Cleaning Slicker Brush is a skin-friendly grooming tool that removes loose fur and tangles from both dogs and cats with an easy one-press hair release.

Regular brushing keeps your home cleaner and your pet more comfortable. The Swihauk slicker brush combines soft, round-tipped bristles with a self-cleaning release and an ergonomic TPR handle to make grooming quick and gentle for long- and short-haired pets. Built with stainless‑steel components and a compact profile, it’s designed for frequent use on animals from kittens and puppies to larger breeds and long-coated cats.

How does the self-cleaning mechanism save time?

Swihauk's one-press release lifts captured hair away from the bristles so you can clear the brush in seconds, reducing interruptions during grooming. No separate comb or tedious manual pulling is required—simply press and wipe the hair off.

• Push-button bottom releases trapped fur instantly
• Clears bristles in a single motion for continuous brushing
• Minimizes need to stop and trim or pick fur by hand

Is the slicker brush gentle enough for sensitive skin?

The brush uses round-tipped, soft plastic-covered pins that detangle and collect loose hair without scraping or irritating the skin. Its protective pin heads are designed to glide over the coat and reach the undercoat while maintaining a comfortable grooming experience for nervous or senior pets.

• Rounded plastic pin heads to prevent scratching
• Even pin spacing reduces pulling and discomfort
• Suitable for frequent, short grooming sessions

Which pets and coat types work best with this brush?

Swihauk’s slicker brush is versatile for many breeds and hair lengths—effective on long, medium, and short hair as well as mixed coats. Use it to remove loose undercoat fibers, smooth tangles, and maintain a neat appearance between baths.

• Works on dogs, cats, rabbits, and other haired pets
• Useful for breeds like golden retriever, yorkie, and domestic longhair cats
• Also effective for puppies and kittens as a gentle introductory brush

What makes the handle and build durable for regular use?

The brush combines a high-quality stainless steel pin plate with a lightweight TPR (thermoplastic rubber) handle engineered for comfort and grip. Its compact frame and sturdy materials withstand repeated brushing and the stresses of pet grooming at home.

• Stainless‑steel pin base resists bending and rust
• TPR handle offers a non-slip, ergonomic hold
• Compact, balanced design reduces hand fatigue
