SUSTEAS Rotary Cheese Grater large hand-crank shredder with 5 interchangeable drums — wide chute, suction base

The SUSTEAS Rotary Cheese Grater is a large-capacity hand-crank shredder with five interchangeable drums that rapidly grate, slice, and ribbon cheese and vegetables while keeping hands safely away from blades.

Whether you’re assembling weeknight tacos, prepping a big pasta dinner, or making salads for a crowd, this oversized rotary grater is built to speed tasks that usually eat up prep time. Designed with a wide feed chute and generous drum size, it accepts larger pieces so you spend less time pre-cutting and more time cooking. The enclosed drum system and suction base prioritize safety, while quick-release parts make cleanup simple.

How much faster is the SUSTEAS grater compared with a standard box grater?

The large drum and wide chute let you push bigger pieces through at once, which multiplies throughput versus flat graters. You’ll find it can finish the same amount of food many times quicker because the drum continuously shreds without clogging.

• Oversized drum accepts larger chunks so fewer feed cycles are needed
• Wide outlet prevents jamming for steady shredding
• Hand-crank design maintains constant speed and control

Which blade types are included and what do they do?

The set includes five distinct drums so one tool covers many kitchen tasks. Switch drums in seconds to move from fine grating to thick slicing or decorative wavy cuts for garnishes.

• Fine grate — perfect for hard cheeses like Parmesan
• Coarse shred — ideal for melting cheeses and hash browns
• Thick slice — makes uniform slices for gratins or sandwiches
• Thin slice — great for delicate cucumber or carrot ribbons
• Wavy cut — decorative edges for salads and plating

Is the SUSTEAS grater safe and easy to clean?

Safety is built into the design: the cutting surfaces stay enclosed in the drum so fingers don’t approach blades during use. When you’re done, the drums and body separate tool-free for quick rinsing and dishwasher-safe placement on a gentle cycle.

• Suction base secures unit to smooth counters for stable operation
• Enclosed drums prevent direct contact with blades while turning
• All removable parts are top-rack dishwasher safe on low-temperature cycles

How compact is it for storage and travel?

Although it handles larger produce, the main body is designed to fit into kitchen drawers or cabinets alongside a small blade case. The included storage compartment keeps drums organized so the whole set tucks away neatly between uses.

• Compact body footprint for easy drawer or cabinet storage
• Dedicated blade storage case included to prevent loose parts
• Lightweight enough to take to potlucks or outdoor cooking

Who is this for? Home cooks who want to cut prep time and reduce tool clutter will appreciate the SUSTEAS Rotary Cheese Grater. It’s suited for families, busy weeknight cooks, hobby chefs who plate frequently, and anyone who prefers a safer alternative to flat box graters or bulky food processors. The simple crank operation makes it accessible to teens and older adults, while the variety of blades replaces several single-purpose tools.
