superbio Compostable 13-Gallon Drawstring Kitchen Bags, 30 Count — Certified ASTM D6400, Tear-Resistant

SUPERBIO 13-gallon compostable drawstring bags are sturdy, tear-resistant kitchen liners designed to hold household organic waste and break down in industrial composting environments.

These 13-gallon (49.2 L) bags from SUPERBIO are made for home kitchens that prefer a compostable alternative to conventional plastic liners. Each roll contains 30 bags sized approximately 25.2 x 25.6 inches with a 1 mil thickness and integrated drawstrings for quick closing and carrying. The material is produced to meet recognized industrial composting benchmarks and is intended for use with commercial composting services where accepted.

How durable are these compostable bags for everyday kitchen use?

SUPERBIO bags are engineered to resist tears and punctures during normal household use so you can toss food scraps, fruit peels, coffee grounds and light wet waste without frequent breakage. Their strength is optimized for recommended usage; avoid overfilling or placing very sharp objects directly inside.

• 1 mil thickness for everyday strength
• Drawstring closure reduces spills during transport
• Designed to resist tearing under standard kitchen loads

Are these bags certified compostable and what does that mean?

SUPERBIO bags carry industry certifications confirming they meet standards for industrial composting, such as ASTM D6400 and EN 13432, granted by accredited organizations. These certifications indicate the material will biodegrade under the conditions found at commercial composting facilities; however, they are not intended to biodegrade effectively in a home backyard pile or landfill environment.

• Certified to ASTM D6400 and EN 13432 standards
• Recognized by BPI and TUV OK compost INDUSTRIAL/SEEDLING programs
• Requires commercial composting infrastructure for proper breakdown

How should I store and use the bags to get the best performance?

To preserve strength and shelf life, store the roll in a cool, dry location away from heat and direct sunlight. Fill bags according to their 13-gallon capacity, tie the drawstring when removing, and avoid leaving highly acidic or alkaline organic waste in the bag for more than a few days.

• Keep in a cool, dry place; shelf life roughly one year
• Dispose of organic waste at composting facility within 72 hours when highly wet or acidic
• Do not overfill or use with sharp metal or glass shards

What should I know about packaging and local composting availability?

Packaging may vary between shipments while maintaining the same product quality and contents. Check local municipal or commercial composting programs before relying on industrial composting, since acceptance policies differ by region and facility.

• Product quality is consistent despite occasional packaging updates
• Verify local facility acceptance for certified industrial compostable bags
• Not all curbside or municipal programs accept certified compostable liners

Who is this for: SUPERBIO 13-gallon compostable drawstring bags are suited for households, small office kitchens, and food-prep spaces that already have access to commercial composting or participate in a municipal compost collection program. They’re a practical choice for consumers seeking a compostable alternative to conventional plastic liners while retaining convenient strength and a simple drawstring closure.
