Streamlight MicroStream LED Pocket Flashlight, Black — 20 Lumens, AAA, Aircraft‑Grade Aluminum

The Streamlight MicroStream 66318 is a pocket-sized, aircraft‑grade aluminum LED penlight that delivers a focused 20-lumen beam from a single AAA battery for reliable everyday and professional use.

Small enough to carry every day but built to withstand tough conditions, the MicroStream combines a high-flux 1/2-watt LED, Streamlight's Micro Optical System, and battery‑booster electronics to squeeze bright, consistent output from one AAA cell. The anodized aircraft‑grade aluminum body, unbreakable polycarbonate lens, and secure tail‑cap switch give you durable, single‑handed operation for inspections, repairs, safety checks, or general household tasks. It ships with a key ring, safety lanyard, and a battery so it’s ready to use straight from the box.

How bright is the MicroStream and how long will its light last?

The MicroStream produces about 20 lumens from its high‑flux LED — enough for close work and short‑range illumination. The LED itself is rated for up to 30,000 hours of life, while a single included AAA battery provides roughly 1.5 hours of continuous run time under normal use.

• 20 lumens output suitable for inspections and reading in low light
• 30,000‑hour LED lifespan reduces need for bulb replacements
• Approximately 1.5 hours continuous runtime on one AAA alkaline battery

What features make this flashlight durable and pocket‑friendly?

The MicroStream’s tube is machined from aircraft‑grade aluminum with a Type II MIL‑SPEC anodized finish for abrasion and corrosion resistance. A pocket clip, key ring, and included lanyard offer multiple carry options while a tactile rubber tail cap prevents accidental activation in pockets or bags.

• Type II anodized aluminum body for impact and corrosion resistance
• Unbreakable, scratch‑resistant polycarbonate lens for long life
• Removable pocket clip and accessories for versatile carry

How is the MicroStream operated for quick tasks or extended use?

The tail‑cap features a rubberized push button that provides both momentary and constant‑on modes: press lightly for a flash or click to lock the light on. The button’s firm, tactile action reduces false activation while clipped or stowed, and single‑handed control makes it convenient for technicians and first responders.

• Momentary light when depressing the switch slightly for short checks
• Click to engage constant‑on for prolonged tasks
• Ergonomic placement of the switch for one‑handed use

What’s included and does it come ready to use?

The MicroStream arrives with everything needed to carry and operate the light immediately: the flashlight, a key ring, a safety lanyard, and one AAA battery already installed. Streamlight also backs the product with a limited lifetime warranty for workmanship and materials.

• Flashlight pre‑assembled with one AAA battery installed
• Key ring and safety lanyard for attachment and retention
• Limited lifetime warranty from Streamlight for peace of mind

Who is this for? The Streamlight MicroStream 66318 is ideal for anyone who needs dependable, compact illumination: tradespeople and technicians who perform close‑up inspections; security and law enforcement professionals who require a durable backup light; outdoor enthusiasts who want a lightweight EDC torch; and homeowners seeking a reliable penlight for everyday tasks.
