Stack Man Compostable 9" Paper Plates — 125-Pack Heavy-Duty Sugarcane Bagasse, Microwave-Safe

These 9-inch dinner plates from Stack Man are designed for people who want the convenience of disposable tableware without the environmental baggage. Made from recycled sugarcane bagasse and bamboo fibers, the plates are thick, sturdy and free from PFAS, plastics, or wax coatings. They give the look and function of a traditional paper plate while returning to the earth at a commercial composting facility.

How sturdy are these plates for real meals?

Stack Man plates are engineered to resist bending, sagging and knife cuts so they hold sandwiches, salads and everyday dinner portions without collapsing. Their heavier-weight construction mimics lightweight reusable plates for dependable performance.

• Resists knife and fork pressure during typical meals
• Suitable for both hot and cold foods
• Stack-stable design for transport and storage

Can I use these plates in the microwave?

Yes — these bagasse plates are microwave-safe for reheating or serving warm dishes for short intervals. They are not intended for prolonged high-temperature cooking but handle common household reheating tasks well.

• Safe for quick reheating of prepared foods
• Maintain shape with normal microwave use
• Avoid extended exposure to very high heat
• Suitable for serving freshly cooked items

How compostable and eco-friendly are they?

Stack Man plates are BPI-certifiable and made entirely of plant fiber—primarily sugarcane bagasse—so they’re designed to break down in commercial composting within a typical processing window. They provide a low-impact alternative to plastic-lined disposables.

• 100% plant-fiber materials, no plastic or wax coating
• PFAS-free manufacturing for reduced chemical footprint
• Commercial compostable — returns to organic matter at facilities
• Made from repurposed sugarcane byproduct, preserving trees

What occasions are these plates best for?
