Sprout Living Epic Protein plant-based protein powder, Vanilla Lucuma — 1 lb, 20g protein, vegan

Sprout Living Epic Protein Vanilla Lucuma is a clean, multi-source plant protein powder delivering 20 grams of complete vegan protein per serving, blended with lucuma and superfoods for a smooth, naturally sweet vanilla flavor.

This powder combines five organic plant proteins with nutrient-dense superfoods and prebiotic fiber to support daily nutrition without dairy, gluten, or artificial additives. It’s crafted for people who want a complete amino acid profile from plants and a pleasant taste and texture that mixes easily into smoothies, shakes, or recipes. The formula emphasizes purity — no mysterious additives, limited sweeteners, and third-party testing — and the product is currently transitioning to a chia-seed formulation for improved taste and texture.

What makes this protein “complete” for plant-based diets?

Epic Protein achieves a complete amino acid profile by blending complementary plant sources. Each serving contains a mix of organic yellow pea, pumpkin seed, sunflower seed, chia seed, and cranberry seed proteins that together provide all essential amino acids typically sought from animal proteins.

• 20 grams of protein per serving from five organic seed and pea sources.
• Balanced amino acids to support muscle repair and daily protein needs.
• No dairy, making it suitable for vegans and lactose-sensitive individuals.

How does it taste and mix compared with other plant powders?

This blend emphasizes a creamy vanilla-lucuma profile that avoids the chalkiness common in some plant proteins. The inclusion of lucuma fruit and a careful sweetening approach yields a rounded sweetness without artificial aftertaste, and the texture is designed to blend smoothly into liquids.

• Vanilla lucuma flavoring with real fruit-derived sweetness.
• Smooth mouthfeel that mixes well in blenders or shakers.
• Free from artificial flavors, gums, and sugar alcohols like erythritol.

What’s inside the jar and which ingredients were changed recently?

The label lists organic pea, pumpkin seed, sunflower seed, chia seed, and cranberry seed proteins plus lucuma, natural coconut sugar, and a touch of organic stevia leaf. The company is replacing sacha inchi with chia seed in the Q1 2025 formula update to improve flavor and texture; nutrition facts may adjust slightly with that change.

• Organic multi-source protein blend and superfoods, no hidden additives.
• Sweetened naturally with coconut sugar, stevia leaf, and fruit-derived sugars.
• Third-party tested for purity and free from gluten, GMOs, and dairy.

How can I use Epic Protein in my daily routine?

Use two scoops in a morning smoothie for a protein-forward start, mix into plant milk or water after workouts, or fold into breakfast bowls and recipes to boost protein content. Its neutral vanilla-lucuma taste makes it versatile for sweet and savory-style recipes alike.

• Add 2 scoops to smoothies, oatmeal, or baked goods for 20g protein per serving.
• Mixes easily with water, nut milk, or yogurt alternatives for on-the-go convenience.
• Works well as a post-exercise recovery shake or a mid-day protein boost.

Who is this for: Epic Protein is aimed at people following vegetarian or vegan lifestyles, those with dairy or gluten sensitivities, fitness enthusiasts seeking plant-based recovery support, and anyone who prioritizes minimally processed ingredients and clear labeling. If you want a clean, complete plant protein with a pleasant vanilla-lucuma taste and no artificial additives, this product is formulated to fit seamlessly into active, health-focused routines.
