Sports Research Vitamin K2 MK-7 100 mcg Plantgels™ – 60 Vegan Softgels, MCT Oil for Better Absorption

Sports Research Vitamin K2 as MK-7 100mcg delivers a once-daily plant-based K2 softgel designed to support healthy calcium utilization and long-lasting bioavailability.

Made from fermented chickpeas and encapsulated in Sports Research’s carrageenan-free Plantgels™, this formula supplies 100 mcg of MK-7 per easy-to-swallow softgel. The product combines MK-7 with coconut MCT oil for improved absorption and includes a UV-protecting color barrier to help preserve potency. Third-party tested and produced in a cGMP-compliant facility in the USA, these softgels are Vegan Certified and Non-GMO Project Verified.

How does MK-7 differ from other forms of Vitamin K?

MK-7 (menaquinone-7) is a long-chain form of Vitamin K2; it tends to remain in circulation longer than shorter-chain forms and often shows greater activity than Vitamin K1. This can mean fewer daily doses are necessary to maintain steady levels.

• Longer half-life in the bloodstream compared with MK-4 and K1
• Higher bioactivity per microgram in many studies
• Delivered here as fermented chickpea-derived MK-7, not soy

Why is this a once-a-day supplement and how should I take it?

Each softgel contains 100 mcg of MK-7 — a convenient single daily serving intended for consistent intake. Taking the softgel with a meal that includes fat enhances absorption, which is why the formula includes coconut MCT oil.

• One veggie softgel per day, swallow with food
• Formulated with MCT oil to support fat-soluble vitamin uptake
• UV-protective color barrier reduces light exposure during storage

What makes Sports Research’s Plantgels™ different from other softgels?

Plantgels™ are carrageenan-free, vegetable-based softgels that suit vegan lifestyles and avoid animal-derived gelatin. They’re paired with plant-sourced MK-7 and a non-soy fermentation method.

• Made without carrageenan and animal gelatin
• Vegan Certified and Non-GMO Project Verified
• Suitable for customers avoiding soy and gluten

How is quality ensured for this K2 supplement?

Sports Research follows strict manufacturing and testing practices to ensure product consistency and purity. Each batch undergoes third-party testing and the product is manufactured in the USA in cGMP-compliant facilities.

• Third-party tested for potency and purity
• Made in a cGMP-compliant facility in the United States
• Free of gluten, soy, carrageenan, and unnecessary fillers
