Speedo Mesh Equipment Bag Deluxe Ventilator — Quick-Drying Open-Weave with Padded Straps

The Speedo Unisex-Adult Deluxe Ventilator Mesh Equipment Bag is a quick-drying, open-weave gear bag with backpack straps, a drawstring top and a front zip pocket for secure swim and training storage.

Built for swimmers but practical for anyone who needs ventilated, lightweight storage, this Speedo mesh bag pairs durable open-weave fabric with improved materials and carrying comfort. It sheds water and dries fast, so damp fins, kickboards, suits and towels won’t sit in a sealed pocket. The Deluxe Ventilator adds padded shoulder straps and a front zippered pocket to the classic Speedo silhouette, making it easier to organize smaller essentials while you commute, train, or travel.

How does the mesh help with wet gear?

The open-weave construction allows air to circulate around wet swimsuits, fins and towels, accelerating drying and reducing trapped odor. Because water drains directly through the fabric, items don’t pool at the bottom the way they can in solid bags. The lightweight mesh also resists mildew when rinsed and allowed to dry between uses.

• Open-weave mesh for rapid air flow and drainage
• Quick-drying materials minimize odor buildup
• Lightweight design prevents water weight from dragging you down

What organizational features keep things secure?

In addition to the main drawstring closure that keeps larger items contained, this bag includes a zippered front pocket for keys, goggles and other small accessories. The drawstring cinches tight to prevent items from spilling, while the zip pocket protects belongings that shouldn’t get wet or fall out. The bag’s classic shape balances capacity with easy access.

• Top drawstring closure for fast load-and-go use
• Front zippered pocket for valuables and small gear
• Spacious main compartment fits fins, paddles, towels and more

Can I carry it comfortably to practice or the gym?

Yes — the Deluxe Ventilator upgrades the traditional mesh sack with shoulder straps configured for backpack-style carry, spreading weight more evenly on longer walks. The straps are sturdy enough for heavy training kits yet remain light so the bag stays portable. This makes it a practical choice for poolside travel or mixed-activity days.

• Padded shoulder straps for backpack-style carrying comfort
• Balanced profile for even weight distribution
• Durable construction designed for repeated use

How durable is the Speedo construction?

Speedo’s Ventilator line uses reinforced open-weave mesh and upgraded materials to resist tears and abrasion from training equipment. The seams and closures are designed to withstand frequent loading and exposure to chlorine and saltwater when rinsed properly. This bag is built to handle regular swim team use or daily trips to the gym.

• Reinforced mesh resists snagging and wear
• Improved materials over classic styles for better longevity
• Easy to rinse and air dry after exposure to chlorine or salt
