Speedo Hydrospex Classic Swim Goggles Clear — Unisex, Anti-Fog UV Protection, Soft Silicone Strap

Speedo Hydrospex Classic Clear are lightweight unisex swim goggles built for recreational swimmers who want a secure, comfortable fit with UV protection and anti-fog lenses.

These Hydrospex Classic goggles combine a soft, one-piece frame and split silicone strap with an inner-eye fit system to deliver reliable performance for casual laps, pool play, and open-water swims for ages 14 and up. The lenses are eyeglass-quality, shatter-resistant Lexan with anti-fog treatment and UV protection, while the hypoallergenic construction avoids latex and (per product notes) is PVC-free.

How do these goggles feel on the face during regular swims?

The Hydrospex Classic uses a flexible, one-piece frame and a gasket shaped to rest just outside the eye socket for a balance of comfort and security. The G.O. FIT system helps the lens sit closer to the eye for a snug seal without excessive pressure.

• Soft, hypoallergenic one-piece frame for gentle contact
• Gasket shaped for an outside-the-eye-socket seal
• G.O. FIT inner-eye alignment for reduced leak points
• Split silicone head strap to distribute tension evenly

Will these goggles protect my eyes and stay clear while swimming?

The lenses are treated with anti-fog coating to maintain clearer vision and block a high percentage of UV light for daytime outdoor use. The eyeglass-quality Lexan material is shatter resistant for safer handling and longer wear.

• Anti-fog lens treatment to reduce fogging during activity
• Approximately 95% UV protection for sunlit swims
• Lexan shatter-resistant lenses for durability
• Clear lens option for maximum visibility in all conditions

How is the strap and fit adjusted for different head sizes?

The split silicone head strap provides secure hold while reducing hair pull and pressure. Simple strap adjustments let swimmers fine-tune fit, and the unisex design accommodates a broad range of adult head shapes.

• Split silicone strap for comfort and stability
• Easy-to-adjust buckles for quick fit changes
• Unisex sizing suitable for most adults (14+)
• Compact, lightweight build (approx. 1 oz) for minimal drag

What are the key measurements and care notes I should know?

Small but performance-focused, the Hydrospex Classic lists an eye-size and bridge dimension to help confirm fit. The goggles are low-maintenance: rinse with fresh water after use and avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve the anti-fog coating.

• Eye size: 36 mm; Bridge: 17 mm; Weight: ~1 oz
• Imported product with a six-month manufacturer defect coverage
• Rinse after use and air-dry to protect lenses and straps
• Avoid touching inner lens surface to preserve anti-fog layer

Who is this for? The Speedo Hydrospex Classic Clear goggles are aimed at recreational swimmers, fitness bathers, and casual open-water users who want a dependable, comfortable goggle that balances clear vision, sun protection, and a soft, hypoallergenic fit. They suit adults and teens (14+) who need a straightforward, durable option for regular pool or outdoor swim sessions without specialty racing or prescription requirements.
