SONAX Upholstery & Alcantara Cleaner Foam 250 ml — foaming car interior cleaner for synthetic suede and fabric, gentle odor neutra

SONAX Upholstery & Alcantara Cleaner Foam is a targeted 250 ml foaming cleaner designed to lift dirt, oils and everyday stains from Alcantara and other delicate automotive textiles without over-wetting the material.

Modern car interiors use a range of delicate fabrics—synthetic suede, Alcantara, and fine woven textiles—that need cleaning methods different from hard plastics or leather. This SONAX formula creates a controlled foam that clings to the surface, loosening soil and refreshing nap and texture while helping neutralize lingering odors. It’s formulated specifically for automotive fabrics and is intended for routine detailing of seats, headliners, door panels and other textile areas where aggressive liquids or scrubbing could cause damage.

How does the foam clean Alcantara without soaking or damaging it?

The pump-foam delivery concentrates active ingredients on the fabric surface so you avoid saturating the backing or adhesive layers underneath. Allowing the foam to dwell loosens embedded oils and dirt, and gentle agitation with a soft brush or microfiber restores fiber loft without aggressive mechanical stress.

• Controlled foam reduces excess moisture and prevents over-wetting.
• Gentle surfactants targeted at textile soils, not heavy solvents.
• Short dwell time loosens grime before gentle wiping or blotting.
• Recommended spot-test to ensure color-fastness on bonded areas.

Which surfaces in the car can I safely treat with this cleaner?

SONAX Upholstery & Alcantara Cleaner Foam is formulated for Alcantara and similar synthetic-suede materials, plus many common automotive textiles. It’s appropriate for fabric seats, carpets, door-panel textiles, roof linings, and compatible child-seat fabrics when used as directed.

• Alcantara and synthetic suede-style surfaces.
• Cloth seats, seat covers and fabric headliners.
• Carpeted floors and textile door panels.
• Avoid over-saturating bonded or glued areas—test first.

Will it remove common stains and odors from the interior?

The foam targets everyday spills like food and drink residue, body oils and general grime; it also includes an odor-neutralizing component to reduce persistent smells such as smoke or pet odor. While effective on routine stains, particularly heavy or set-in marks may need repeat applications or professional attention.

• Removes fresh food/drink stains and surface soil.
• Helps neutralize cigarette, pet and general interior odors.
• May require multiple passes for deeply embedded or old stains.
• Always follow with proper drying to prevent musty smells.

How should I apply the cleaner for best results?

For optimal cleaning, pump the foam onto the affected area or applicator, work gently with a soft brush or microfiber to lift soil, then wipe away residue and allow the textile to dry fully. Avoid excessive wetting of headliners or delicate bonded fabrics and always perform a patch test in an inconspicuous spot first.

• Pump foam directly or onto a suitable applicator pad.
• Gently agitate with a soft brush or microfiber cloth.
• Wipe away loosened dirt, then air-dry completely.
• If necessary, repeat for stubborn marks; do not oversaturate.

Who is this for? Car owners, detailers and enthusiasts who want a specialist cleaner for Alcantara and other sensitive textile surfaces will appreciate this SONAX foam. It’s geared to people who prefer a targeted, low-moisture approach over general-purpose sprays—ideal for preserving delicate nap, controlling moisture exposure and reducing interior odors while maintaining original texture and appearance.
