Solution Finish Black Plastic & Vinyl Trim Restorer — 12 oz bottle, silicone-free matte finish, long-lasting UV protection

Solution Finish Black Trim Restorer is a silicone-free 12 oz formula that revives faded plastic and vinyl trim to a natural, long-lasting black without a shiny "wet" finish.

Faded bumpers, window surrounds, mirror housings and mud flaps age a vehicle’s appearance faster than paint chips or dents. This trim restorer is formulated to replenish color and provide durable protection on automotive and recreational plastic and vinyl surfaces. It’s VOC-compliant and designed for easy application with a cloth or towel, so a single 12 oz bottle treats multiple panels.

How does it revive faded trim without leaving a glossy or artificial shine?

The formula uses advanced polymers that penetrate and bond with weathered plastic and vinyl rather than sitting on the surface as a greasy coating. That yields a restored, natural-looking black that resists runoff and streaking. Because it’s silicone-free, it avoids the slick, high-gloss appearance typical of some dressings.

• Polymer-based formula that restores color below the surface
• Silicone-free for a matte-to-low-sheen finish, not a wet look
• Dries into a durable layer that minimizes dust attraction

Which surfaces and vehicles are safe to treat with this product?

It’s made to work on exterior black plastic and vinyl found on cars, trucks, SUVs and many recreational vehicles. Beyond automotive trims, it’s appropriate for ATVs, UTVs, boats and truck bed covers with black vinyl or plastic trim. Avoid using it on painted body panels, fabric, or clear lenses.

• Window trim, door handles, and bumper covers
• Wiper cowls, mirror housings, mud flaps and seals
• ATV/UTV plastics and boat vinyl trim (non-painted parts)

How do I apply it for the best, longest-lasting results?

Start with clean, dry surfaces free of wax, grime and loose oxidation. Apply a small amount to a microfiber cloth or applicator pad and work it into the trim in even passes. Allow a brief cure time, then buff any excess for uniform appearance; reapply only where color or protection has faded.

• Clean surface with soap and water or trim cleaner first
• Use a soft cloth or towel; little product is required per panel
• Buff lightly after application and reapply if needed after curing

What durability and maintenance should I expect after use?

The treated trim gains a protective layer that helps resist UV fading and everyday contaminants, extending the refreshed look. Durability depends on exposure and care—periodic reapplication keeps trim looking renewed. Because it’s VOC-compliant, it balances performance with regulatory safety considerations.

• Provides weather and UV resistance to slow re-fading
• Maintenance requires occasional reapplication for high-exposure areas
• 12 oz bottle covers multiple panels—economical for regular upkeep
