SOLIEHOO Bug Catcher for Kids — Handheld Bug Vacuum with 17W Suction & 6X Magnifier, Safe One-Button Capture

SOLIEHOO Bug Catcher for Kids is a handheld insect vacuum and exploration kit that safely captures, magnifies, and releases small bugs so children can study them without touching or harming the creatures.

Packed with a 17W suction bug vacuum, a 6X magnifying viewer box, handheld magnifier, net and gentle capsule clip, this kit turns backyard curiosity into a guided learning activity. The design focuses on safety and ease: one-button vacuuming, smooth edges for small hands, a detachable clear capture chamber with air holes for humane release, and an adjustable strap to carry the viewer. Everything is built to encourage observation, not harm, and to help kids develop counting, description, and basic biology vocabulary through hands-on play.

How does the bug vacuum catch insects without hurting them?

The vacuum uses a 17W low-noise motor and a gentle airflow path designed to pull tiny insects into the detachable container without crushing them. The capture chamber includes multiple air holes so trapped insects continue to breathe and stay alive until release.

• 17W gentle suction suitable for insects under about 10 mm and 0.1 g.
• Suction nozzle should be placed within 8 mm for reliable capture.
• Clear, removable container with air holes for humane holding.
• Battery compartment secured with screws to prevent unsupervised access.

What tools are included and how do they help exploration?

The kit bundles a magnifying viewer box with a 6X lens, a handheld magnifying glass, tweezers, a capsule clip for safe lifting, and a butterfly net to catch faster insects. Each tool is sized and smoothed for children, making it simple to transport, inspect, and release specimens while preserving details for study.

• 6X magnifier in the viewing box for detailed observation.
• Hand magnifier for quick field checks and close-up looks.
• Capsule insect clip and tweezers to move insects gently without touching.
• Adjustable crossbody strap to carry the viewer hands-free outdoors.

Is the toy easy and safe for young children to operate?

Yes — the vacuum uses a single-button control so children can operate it with minimal help, while safety features protect younger users. Smooth edges, a detachable chamber for inspection, and a battery compartment that requires parental help to open reduce risks during play.

• One-button operation suitable for ages 3–12 with adult supervision for younger kids.
• Smooth, rounded edges and child-friendly materials to prevent scrapes.
• Battery installation needs an adult to unscrew the compartment for safety.
• Small parts warning: not suitable for children under 3 years.

How does this kit support learning and play?

Beyond catching, the set encourages observation, vocabulary building, and conversations about habitats and life cycles. It provides a controlled, repeatable way for kids to notice patterns, record findings, and practice respectful handling of living creatures.

• Hands-on observation strengthens scientific curiosity and attention to detail.
• Tools encourage descriptive language — size, color, movement, anatomy.
• Safe release design reinforces respect for living things and conservation thinking.
• Includes an instruction manual to guide activities and suggested experiments.
