Snuggle Puppy Heartbeat Dog Toy for Puppies — Black Plush, Medium Size with Heat Pack & Motion-Activated Calming Heartbeat

Snuggle Puppy Heartbeat Dog Toy is a plush comfort companion with a realistic, motion-activated heartbeat and a disposable heat pack to soothe medium-breed puppies during sleep, travel, and crate training.

Bringing home a new puppy can mean restless nights and uneasy crate training sessions — the Snuggle Puppy Heartbeat Dog Toy recreates the feeling of a littermate by combining rhythmic vibration and warmth in a machine-washable plush. Sized for medium breeds (about 12 x 8 inches) and ready to use with included batteries and a single-use heat pack, this toy is designed to reduce anxiety-related whining and improve settling behavior without medication. The removable SmartBeat unit reactivates with motion and has selectable runtime options, while the heat insert provides up to 24 hours of comforting warmth.

How does the heartbeat help a new puppy relax?

The heartbeat feature simulates the steady rhythm a puppy would feel when close to its mother or siblings, offering a familiar sensory cue that can encourage calm behavior. It's motion-activated, so it conserves battery life and resumes when the puppy snuggles against it, creating a responsive presence rather than constant noise.

• Real-feel SmartBeat module mimics a gentle heartbeat
• Motion-activated to restart when the puppy moves
• Two runtime modes: auto 8-hour shutoff or continuous 24-hour operation
• Batteries included so it's ready from first use

What role does the heat pack play, and how long does it last?

The disposable heat pack slips into the toy's belly pouch to supply low, safe warmth that enhances the cuddle effect and can soothe puppies who find temperature comforting. Each single-use pack provides warmth for up to 24 hours; replacement packs are available separately in multi-packs.

• Insertable heat pack warms the plush for comforting temperature
• Designed for single-use; replacement packs sold in 6- and 12-packs
• Heat helps simulate the body warmth of littermates
• Remove heat pack before washing the exterior plush

Is the Snuggle Puppy safe for unsupervised or everyday use?

The toy is intended as a soothing comfort item, not a chew toy; remove the SmartBeat heart and heat pack before leaving a dog alone with the plush for extended periods. The soft exterior is machine washable once internal components are taken out, helping keep the toy hygienic between uses.

• Not a chew-resistant product — remove electronics and heat pack for unsupervised play
• Machine-washable exterior after removing internal components
• Includes 2 AAA batteries in the SmartBeat unit
• Size tailored to medium breeds (25–70 lbs); other sizes available for small and large dogs

How do I use the toy during crate training and travel?

Place the Snuggle Puppy in the crate or carrier with the heart module activated and the heat pack inserted (if desired) to create a cozy, familiar-feeling spot. The combination of warmth and intermittent heartbeat noise can help reduce whining and make short trips or crate sessions more comfortable.

• Activate SmartBeat and tuck it into the belly pouch before placing in crate
• Use heat pack for overnight or travel comfort, replace as needed
• Remove sensitive parts for washing between uses
• Often used by breeders, shelters, and vet professionals for settling puppies

Who is this for? The Snuggle Puppy Heartbeat Dog Toy (Medium) is ideal for owners of medium-breed puppies who want a non-medical way to ease first-night anxiety, support crate training, or make travel less stressful. It's also useful for dogs that respond well to tactile and thermal comfort — such as puppies separated from littermates, rescue dogs adjusting to a new home, or pets that need reassurance during storms or vet visits. If your dog tends to chew or destroy toys, consider supervised use and remove the heart and heat pack before leaving them unattended.
