SNAPPY Butter Burst Popcorn Oil — Movie-theater butter oil, 1 Gallon jug, ready-to-use

SNAPPY Butter Burst Popcorn Oil is a ready-to-use, movie-theater–style butter oil in a 1-gallon jug that gives popcorn a rich golden flavor and color without melting.

Bring the aroma and taste of concession-stand popcorn to home kitchens, party venues, and small theaters with this soybean oil blend. Colored naturally with beta carotene and blended with SNAPPY’s proprietary butter flavor, the Butter Burst formula is designed for popping and topping: pour it into poppers or drizzle over fresh batches for that familiar buttery finish. The oil ships at room temperature and is made by a family-run popcorn company that has been growing and processing popcorn since 1940.

How does this oil create movie-theater flavor at home?

SNAPPY’s Butter Burst combines a soybean oil base with a concentrated butter flavor to reproduce the savory, slightly toasted notes you expect from concession popcorn. The blend is optimized to transfer aroma and taste to each kernel during popping or when used as a finishing oil.

• Proprietary butter flavoring formulated for popcorn taste delivery
• Soybean oil provides neutral frying characteristics and mouthfeel
• Ideal viscosity for even coating whether used while popping or as a drizzle

Can I use this oil in machines and on the stovetop?

Yes — it’s made for both commercial poppers and home stovetop or kettle popping. The oil pours easily straight from the jug, and it performs consistently across different popcorn equipment without needing preheating or melting.

• Works with commercial and countertop popping machines
• Perfect for stovetop kettles and large-batch home popping
• Ready-to-use at room temperature; no refrigeration required

Why is beta carotene used, and does it affect taste?

Beta carotene gives the oil a natural golden color so popped kernels look bright and appealing, similar to theater popcorn. It’s a natural colorant derived from carrots and does not introduce chemical preservatives or artificial dyes.

• Natural coloring for classic golden popcorn appearance
• No artificial colors or preservatives in the formulation
• Coloring is cosmetic—flavor comes from the butter blend

How should I store and use the 1-gallon jug for best results?

Keep the jug at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use a clean pour spout or ladle for portioning during busy concession service or home movie nights to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.

• Store sealed at room temperature; no refrigeration needed
• Use clean utensils to portion and keep the jug sanitary
• Suitable for bulk use in events, theaters, and high-volume kitchens
