Smallish FanShelfie Adjustable Fan Holder for Dorm Rooms — Black, Clamp-Mount with Two Height Settings

The Smallish FanShelfie is a clamp-mounted, adjustable fan holder that secures an 8.27-inch fan at a customizable height and distance from your bed so you get steady airflow without sacrificing desk or nightstand space.

Designed for dorms, lofted beds, and small bedrooms, the FanShelfie is a compact mounting system that holds most small fans in place using a two-way Velcro strap and sturdy C-clamp hardware. It’s a fan holder only (no fan included) and installs in seconds with four pieces, offering two height settings and a sliding clamp to position airflow exactly where you want it. Built from PLA and metal components, the unit is intended to keep a fan steady and out of the way while you study or sleep.

How does the FanShelfie adjust to different bed types?

The FanShelfie includes an optional extension pole and a sliding clamp so you can choose a taller setup for lofted beds or a shorter profile for bunks and footboards. The clamp itself moves closer to or farther from the bed rail to accommodate thick bedding or mattress toppers.

• Two height options: with or without the extension pole
• Sliding clamp adjusts distance from bed rail
• Works with common loft, bunk, and standard bed rails
• Designed for 8.27-inch fan bases for a secure fit

Will my fan stay secure overnight?

Security comes from industrial-strength two-way Velcro and heavy-duty C-clamps that hold the fan base steady without screws or drilling. The materials and clamp design minimize slipping and keep the fan mounted in place even when positioned upside down.

• Universal 2-way Velcro system chosen for strong grip
• Durable PLA components reinforced with metal hardware
• C-clamps provide a firm attachment to bed rails
• No permanent modifications required to furniture

How easy is installation and everyday use?

Assembly uses four parts and takes only a few minutes—no tools beyond what’s included are needed. Once attached, the FanShelfie lets you reposition the fan height and distance quickly to change airflow or stow the holder when not in use.

• Quick four-piece assembly in seconds
• No screws, drilling, or permanent fixture needed
• Adjustable clamp for fast repositioning
• Lightweight design that still provides sturdy support

What maintenance and compatibility should I expect?

Care is minimal: keep the Velcro clean and inspect clamps for tightness periodically. The FanShelfie is made to fit most small fan bases (about 8.27 inches) but does not include a fan, so confirm your fan base dimensions before purchase.

• Wipe Velcro and clamps to remove dust
• Check snugness of C-clamps occasionally
• Compatible with most 8.27-inch fan bases; fan not included
• Backed by a lifetime satisfaction guarantee from Smallish

Who is this for: The FanShelfie is aimed at students, roommates, and small-space dwellers who need efficient cooling without using floor or desk space. It suits anyone with lofted or bunk beds, limited bedside surfaces, or a preference for directing airflow precisely—ideal for dorm rooms, studio apartments, and shared spaces where saving surface area and keeping a fan stable matters most.
