SKYBD Wide-Mouth Canning Lids for Ball & Kerr Jars — 86mm Split-Type, Pack of 100, BPA-Free Silicone Seal

SKYBD wide-mouth split-type canning lids are 86mm metal sealing discs with BPA-free silicone that provide a one-time airtight seal for Ball and Kerr wide-mouth mason jars.

These 100 food-grade metal lids are made for home preserving, offering reliable vacuum sealing for jams, pickles, sauces and other shelf-stable foods when used with standard wide-mouth bands (bands not included). Designed to match Ball and Kerr wide-mouth jars, the lids are single-use split-type discs with silicone liners to help form a tight seal during the canning process. They come in a bulk pack of 100, so you’ll have enough lids for multiple canning sessions or to keep on hand for frequent preserving projects.

Will these lids fit my Ball or Kerr wide-mouth jars?

Yes — these lids are sized to the common wide-mouth diameter (86mm/3.4 inches) used by Ball and Kerr. The split-type design means the metal disc sits on the jar rim while the screw band (sold separately) holds it down during processing.

• Exact diameter: 86mm / 3.4 inches for wide-mouth jars
• Compatible with most Ball and Kerr wide-mouth canning jars
• Works with standard wide-mouth screw bands (not included)

How do these split-type lids perform for home canning?

These lids are intended for one-time use in water-bath and pressure canning, creating a vacuum as jars cool to help preserve food. The silicone lining is BPA-free and provides a consistent seating surface for a dependable seal when installed and processed correctly.

• Food-grade metal with BPA-free silicone seal
• Single-use discs for reliable one-time vacuum sealing
• Suitable for jams, preserves, pickles, and other home-canned goods

How should I use and store these lids?

Place a clean lid on a filled jar, apply the wide-mouth screw band, and process according to your recipe’s canning time and method. After processing, remove bands once jars are cool; discard the lid if the seal is broken or if re-canning is needed.

• Keep lids dry and in original packaging until use
• Replace lids after opening; these discs are disposable
• Follow tested canning recipes and processing times for safety

What makes SKYBD lids a good value for frequent preservers?

The pack of 100 gives hobbyists and small-scale preservers a ready supply so you don’t run out mid-season. The combination of food-grade metal and BPA-free silicone liners delivers consistent seating and a clean seal at an affordable per-lid cost.

• Bulk pack of 100 reduces repeat purchases
