SKYBASIC Wireless Digital Microscope 50X–1000X WiFi/USB Portable HD Camera with Adjustable LED Stand

The SKYBASIC Wireless Digital Microscope is a handheld WiFi and USB microscope offering 50X–1000X magnification with an HD camera for mobile and computer observation.

This compact, portable microscope connects wirelessly to iPhone, Android, and iPad via the Max-see app or by USB to Windows and Mac, making close-up viewing and image capture easy at home, in class, or outdoors. Designed for hobbyists, students, and casual field use, it combines adjustable LED illumination and a simple one-button shutter with broad device compatibility.

How do I connect the SKYBASIC microscope to my phone or tablet?

Connect by turning on the microscope's WiFi hotspot, then open the Max-see app on your iOS or Android device and join the microscope's network (no password). The live feed appears in the app and lets you take photos or record video directly to your device.

• Download "Max-see" from App Store or Google Play
• Long-press power to enable WiFi hotspot
• Join the microscope WiFi network shown in device settings
• Use app controls for capture and light adjustment

What image quality and lighting can I expect?

The built-in 2MP CMOS sensor delivers HD images at 1920×1080 for smartphones and 720P when used with a computer, supported by eight adjustable LEDs to reveal fine detail. Brightness is tunable to reduce glare and improve contrast on different surfaces.

• 1080P resolution for mobile viewing; 720P on PC/Mac
• 8 adjustable LED lights for controllable illumination
• One-button photo/video capture on-device or via app
• Optimal focal distance: 3–60 mm for sharp images

Can I use the SKYBASIC microscope with my computer?

Yes — plug in with the included USB cable to use with Windows or Mac. For best results, follow the platform-specific steps: use AMCap for older Windows, Windows 10 can access via the Camera app, and Mac users can open Photo Booth or QuickTime Player.

• Compatible with Windows XP through Windows 10 and Mac
• Disable built-in laptop camera if it conflicts
• Use AMCap for older Windows versions
• USB mode disables some app-only controls (zoom, +/- buttons)

How portable and easy-to-use is this microscope?

The SKYBASIC unit is lightweight and designed for quick, on-the-go exploration: perfect for outdoor learning, school projects, and casual inspections. It’s a fixed-focus digital magnifier rather than a professional laboratory instrument, so it prioritizes convenience over specialized laboratory precision.

• Compact handheld design with adjustable stand and base
• Easy single-button capture or app-triggered recording
• Brings tabletop or field subjects into view from 3–60 mm
• Not intended for advanced professional biological analysis
