Skullcandy Icon 180 Wired On-Ear Headphones — Black, Foldable Lightweight with Inline Mic

Skullcandy Icon 180 Wired On-Ear Headphones in Black are lightweight, foldable wired headphones with an adjustable headband, inline mic and 85dB safe-listening cap for everyday use.

These on-ear headphones combine a practical wired connection with user-friendly controls and a compact, collapsible shape. Designed for school, commuting, remote work or travel, the Icon 180 focuses on all-day comfort and easy plug-and-play compatibility with any device that accepts a 3.5mm AUX jack.

How comfortable and adjustable are these headphones for different head sizes?

The Icon 180 uses a low-weight on-ear design and a sliding headband that expands to fit a wide range of head sizes, from children to adults. Cushioning on the ear pads reduces pressure during long listening sessions while the fold-flat mechanism helps with storage when not in use.

• Adjustable headband range roughly 12–18 cm for varied fits
• Soft on-ear pads for reduced fatigue during extended wear
• Flat-folding hinge for compact carrying and protected ear cups

What safety and listening controls are built in?

Skullcandy limits the maximum output to about 85 dB to help manage exposure to loud volumes. Playback and call handling are simplified by an inline microphone and media buttons, so you can answer calls or skip tracks without reaching for your device.

• Engineered ~85 dB volume cap to encourage safer listening levels
• Inline microphone for hands-free calls and voice interactions
• Integrated play/pause and track-skip controls for quick access

How does the wired connection and cable perform for daily use?

The Icon 180’s wired 3.5mm connection delivers instant compatibility without pairing or batteries—just plug in and play. The cable is designed to resist tangling and stays attached for reliable everyday use, while the durable build supports frequent folding and travel.

• Universal 3.5mm AUX plug works with most phones, laptops, tablets and flight systems
• Tangle-resistant cable minimizes knots and speeds up grab-and-go use
• Non-removable cable and reinforced joints for long-term reliability

Will these headphones hold up for school, commuting, and travel?

Yes—the combination of a compact folding design and sturdy construction makes Icon 180 suitable for backpacks and carry-ons. The headphones balance portability with adequate durability so you can toss them in a bag without worrying about bulky gear.

• Flat-folding profile fits easily into backpacks and small cases
• Lightweight frame reduces carry weight for daily commutes
• Simple, wired setup eliminates battery management concerns while traveling
