Skillmatics Poke-in Art Wooden Craft Kit — Flower Bouquet, 10 Foam Heads & 700+ Fabric Squares, Mess-Free

Skillmatics Poke-in Art – Flower Bouquet is a mess-free wooden craft kit that lets children create colorful fabric-petal flowers and arrange them into a DIY bouquet without glue or paint.

This craft set combines tactile play with simple assembly to deliver a creative activity children enjoy and parents appreciate. The kit contains foam flower heads, wooden stems, hundreds of fabric squares and poke-in tools, so kids can build multiple blooms, practice fine motor control, and display a finished bouquet. Everything is designed for easy use, safe handling, and minimal cleanup—perfect for independent play, party activities, or a rainy afternoon craft session.

How do kids make a flower with this kit?

Making a flower is straightforward and designed for young hands: place a foam flower on the protective pad, use the poke-in stick to insert fabric squares into the pre-cut slots, and keep layering until the bloom is full. Each step is repetitive yet rewarding, helping children see progress with every petal they add.

• Place foam flower on the included poke-in pad to protect surfaces.
• Use the poke-in stick to push fabric squares into the flower slots.
• Layer colors and textures for fuller petals and varied designs.
• Attach completed flowers to wooden stems and arrange into a bouquet.

What exactly is inside the box and how much can kids create?

The package supplies everything needed to craft multiple flowers: over 700 fabric squares, 10 foam flower heads, six wooden stems, two poke-in sticks, a padded surface and clear instructions. The high quantity of fabric pieces allows for many unique flowers and repeated play sessions before supplies run low.

• 700+ fabric squares in assorted colors and patterns for varied petals.
• Ten foam flower heads to make multiple blooms or replace damaged pieces.
• Six wooden stems for bouquet-making and display options.
• Two poke-in sticks and a pad to keep play neat and safe.

Is this kit suitable for younger kids and how safe is it?

The set is recommended for children aged 4 to 9 and is built to be parent-friendly: there is no glue, paint, or cutting involved, which reduces supervision needs and minimizes mess. Small components like fabric squares mean adult guidance is advised for younger children to prevent accidental ingestion.

• No-glue, no-paint design reduces mess and cleanup time.
• Durable materials made for repeated use and handling.
• Adult supervision suggested for children under recommended age due to small parts.
• Instruction manual included for clear, step-by-step assembly.

How does this activity support skill development?

Poke-in Art blends playful creativity with practical skill-building: inserting fabric pieces into slots strengthens fine motor control while planning colors and arrangements fosters visual perception and creative thinking. The kit encourages independent problem-solving as kids decide patterns and bouquet layouts.

• Improves pincer grasp and hand-eye coordination through repetitive poking.
• Supports visual perception and pattern recognition while designing flowers.
• Encourages focus, patience and independent play during assembly.
• Provides a tangible, displayable outcome for confidence boosting.
